Vipassi Posts New Song "Jove"

Australia's extreme progressive metal quartet Vipassi - the brainchild of guitarist Ben Boyle and Ne Obliviscaris drummer Dan Presland and also featuring Ne Obliviscaris guitarist Benjamin Baret and bassist Brendan "Cygnus" Brown - is now streaming another track from forthcoming album, "Sunyata."

The track, a progressive metal tour-de-force titled "Jove," is available for streaming below. "Sunyata" will be released by Season of Mist worldwide on January 20th, 2017. Regarding the new track, Vipassi comments:

"Our song 'Jove' is a meditation on religion and dogma, its separation from faith, its affect on our history and perception of morality, and ultimately, the corruption and conflict it begets. Faith at its core, is a beautiful thing, which over time, has been clouded by crooked and misguided credo. This song is a counterpoint to 'Benzaiten', our previous track's themes of knowledge and science, and how these things can be at odds with the obtuse nature of organized religion."
