Boise, Idaho/Reno, Nevada-based progressive deathcore/melodic death metal outfit Luck Wont Save You premiere a new single and music video by the name of "White Myth of the Monolith". The track is taken from their upcoming new album "Through the Mountains of Melancholia", which will be out in stores Friday, September 13th, 2024. Bobby Carroll of Cyborg Octopus guests on this particular track.

Cyborg Octopus Releasing "Learning To Breathe"

Bay Area progressive metal quintet Cyborg Octopus has been making big waves in the underground metal community, specifically with the recent release of the “Data_M1nefield” video.

Exhibiting influences ranging from Soreption and The Faceless to James Brown and Beethoven, the musicians from Cyborg Octopus seeks to execute and implement elements of all the music they love into one cohesive package. They push themselves beyond the boundaries of what one would expect from an average metal band.

Each song on "Learning To Breathe" is completely different from the last and explores a completely different genre. The track listing is:

Cyborg Octopus Streaming "DiscoBrain"

Bay Area progressive metal quintet Cyborg Octopus is previewing upcoming full-length album "Learning To Breathe" with a new track titled "DiscoBrain."

"Learning To Breathe" will drop on May 20th. Cyborg Octopus also comments on the new track: "What does metal sound like when it's fused with funk, a saxophone, a scatting vocalist, a slapping bassist and a nightmarish acid trip? You are about the experience.... The DiscoBrain!"

The band will perform two northern California shows in May, the latter scheduled as an official CD release show.
