Wacken Open Air 2012 Sold Out
The organizers of Germany's Wacken Open Air festival have announced that next year's edition of the event, scheduled to take place between August 2nd - 4th in Wacken, Germany, has already sold out. A message from the organizers reads as follows:
"Amazing! Wacken is sold out for the seventh time in a row! For the seventh time in a row Wacken Open Air is sold out and never before in such a short time! All 75,000 tickets are sold. Thanx for your support, metalheads! A huge part of the billing is already announced including several special and exclusive shows as well as high-class acts. As every year we have made every effort to provide a terrific billing! And the announcements don´t stop. Via our online advent calendar at least one band will be announced every day during December. Together we will turn the 23. Wacken Open Air into a mega party!"

Machine Head Confirmed For Wacken 2012
American heavy metal oufit Machine Head has been confirmed as the latest band for Germany's largest metal festival, Wacken Open Air, which will take place between August 2nd - 4th in 2012. Machine Head will be releasing their new studio album, "Unto The Locust" on September 26th in Europe with a North American release date of September 27th to follow. This will be their first album since 2007's highly acclaimed, "The Blackening."

Endstille Announces Album Release
German black metal band Endstille recently announced it's signing to Season of Mist records. The band has now issued the following announcement about the release of the new album "Infektion 1813:"
"Infektion 1813 will invade your local CD shop on May 16th (one day later in North America). Expect no mercy! Infektion 1813 will be available as a Digipak edition limited to the first pressing. Fuck hell!"

Endstille Signs To Season Of Mist
Season of Mist has issued the following brief update about signing a record deal with Endstille: "Season of Mist is proud to welcome German Black metallers Endstille! The band's seventh grenade, which title is yet to be unveiled, has been tentatively scheduled for a spring 2011 release."
"We're satisfied to get reinforcements now by our new comrades of Season of Mist," Endstille commented. "They already proved to be a successful label in the past. So we know that our new brothers in arms can give us enough support for being finally at war with all."
Additional details on the upcoming album will be announced as they are made avialable.
Endstille Issues Studio Update
Endstille has issued the following update:
"On the following weekend Zingultus will enter studio to fulfill some vocals for the upcoming Endstille album 'Infektion 1813' beside Sex, a lot of drugs and greedy Rock n Roll."
"The first song is entitled 'When Kathaaria falls' and you can expect to hear it as a pre-listening within the next weeks."
Endstille To Enter JAKs-Hell Studio
German metal band Endstille has announced that they will enter JAKs-Hell Studio to record their new album at the end of April. The recordings will feature new vocalist Zingultus.
Maroon Posts New Song Online
Maroon has posted a new song, "Children of the Next Level," from the band's latest album, "Order," on their MySpace player for streaming. The song features Iblis from Endstille and SG from Secrets of the Moon on vocals.
Maroon achieved their first ever chart entry with the release of "Order" by hitting the German album charts at #63.
Endstille Announces New Vocalist as Zingultus
German metal band Endstille has issued the following update:

Endstille Parts Ways With Vocalist Iblis
German black metal band, Endstille, has parted ways with vocalist, Iblis. The band has issued the following statement:
"Iblis is no longer a member of Endstille. No comments on any of the reasons why. All upcoming shows will continue as scheduled and will be played with Mannevond on vocals."
