Árstíðir lífsins Premiere New Song
Icelandic/German band Árstíðir lífsins premiere a new song entitled "Er hin gullna stjarna skýjar slóðar rennr rauð", taken from their upcoming new album "Saga á tveim tungum II: Eigi fjoll né firðir", which is out in stores now digitally. A physical edition will follow later this year from Ván Records.

Icelandic/German black metal band Árstíðir lífsins premiere a new single called "Hvers viðar bani", taken from their upcoming new split release with Carpe Noctem called "Aldrnari". The album will be out in stores April 24th via Van Records .

Part-German, part-Icelandic band Árstíðir Lífsins premiere a new song entitled "Morðbál á flugi ok klofin mundriða hjól", taken from their upcoming new album "Saga á tveim tungum I: Vápn ok viðr", which will be out in stores April 26th via Ván Records. The artwork for the album was done by Christopher Duis.

Arstidir Lifsins Releases New Album
Since 2008, the art Icelandic/German pagan metal outfit Arstidir Lifsins - Icelandic for "the seasons of life" - has always radiated the spirit of Old Norse history.
Boasting members of Helrunar, Kerbenok, and Carpe Noctem, the curious collective's latest long player "Aldafoðr Ok Munka Dróttinn" ("Óðinn and the God of the Monks") - takes an in-depth look at Scandinavian history and myth over its dramatic eighty-one-minute run time.
Composed and recorded in Germany and Iceland between May and November of 2013 and then mixed and mastered in December 2013 by the experienced hands of Markus Stock at Klangsmiede Studio E (Empyrium, Helrunar, Secrets Of The Moon etc), "Aldafoðr Ok Munka Dróttinn" is sung entirely in Old Norse-Icelandic, with added Skaldic stanzas from the Icelandic sagas.
