Ohhms Premieres New Song "The Magician"
Ohhms premieres a new song entitled "The Magician", taken from the upcoming new album "The Fool", out March 31st via Holy Roar Records.
States the band: "We have tackled the subject of GMOs contaminating the food we eat on our debut EP in the song ‘Bad Seeds’, which highlighted corporate greed and the huge amounts of cash that can be saved by cutting corners. I was shocked that the information was out there in the public domain, and yet we just ignore it and continue to eat poisons day after day. I started reading university papers on the subject, and one that really affected me was a whistleblower type book named ’Seeds of Deception’ by Jeffrey M. Smith. It wasn’t full of technical jargon and I read it in one long and harrowing sitting. I wrote the lyrics for ‘The Magician’ the very next day. I have to admit, it was an utterly inspiring read. Musically, it was the first ‘fast’ song that we had ever written, although in reality its pretty much mid-paced and even though it lasts a little over eight minutes in total, I only managed to fit in one verse, one middle eight and a killer chorus at the end. It’s all it needed. It’s disgusting and angry enough, so any more riffs or anymore vocals would have been sensory overload."

Mammoth Weed Wizard Bastard Announces UK-Tour
Wrexham, UK psychedelic doom/sludge outfit Mammoth Weed Wizard Bastard has just announced a UK tour with Ohhms, after releasing the band's second album "Y Proffwyd Dwyll" earlier this year. The title track taken from it, released on September 30th 2016 through New Heavy Sounds, can be streamed below.

Ohhms To Release Debut LP
Ohhms will flower into life with a sprawling, crushing debut LP titled "Bloom" this October via London-based Holy Roar Records. The label comments:
"Whilst it could potentially sound disheartening to some, only one previous band has ever eventually ended up working with Holy Roar simply by sending us music. That band was Throats. The second band to end up part of the family in this manner is what you have in front of you here, right now. Ohhms."
With just two tracks clocking in at a massive thirty-two minutes, Ohhms fuses elements of doom, post-metal, prog and psychedelia in stunning clarity and power thanks to Ian Sadler at Emeline Studios and Brad Boatright at Audiosiege mastering.
Holy Roar Records will release "Bloom" on digital, CD and LP formats this coming October 6th, 2014. A trailer is available below, and the track listing:
