Mars Red Sky Posts "Alien Grounds" Video
The French psychedelic stoner doom sorcerers from Mars Red Sky are pleased to unveil their near-thirteen-minute short film "Alien Grounds."
The clip takes "Apex III" and "Sapphire Vessel," the first two tracks from the Bordeaux trio's third and latest album, "Apex III (Praise for the Burning Soul)" and puts them to a science fiction narrative.
Directed by Sébastien Antoine and starring Yan Tual, Dan Bronchinson, Victoria Cyr, Grégory Dreyfus, and Jean-Claude Tisserand, the clip is currently playing below. The Obelisk All-Dayer Lineup Announced
August 20th at Saint Vitus Bar in Brooklyn, New York marks the first-ever edition of The Obelisk All-Dayer, a one-of-a-kind celebration of all things heavy, noisy, psychedelic, progressive, and weird.
In addition to being the first New York appearances for French heavy psych mavens Mars Red Sky, Amsterdam-based motor-rockers Death Alley, West Coast riff-rollers Snail and bizarro Texas punks Funeral Horse, The Obelisk All-Dyaer will feature food, full and recorded sets, limited-edition posters and other merch, and an after party with DJ Adzo (aka Adam Kriney of Brooklyn's The Golden Grass) and Walter Roadburn (the man behind the internationally renowned Roadburn festival).

Mars Red Sky Announces Summer Tour
Bordeaux, France-based psychedelic stoner doom trio Mars Red Sky will travel to North America on a run of live dates later this summer. With several performances already announced last month, the full journey, sponsored by The Obelisk, is now finalized, running from August 19th in Boston, Massachusetts through September 3rd in Seattle, Washington.
The fifteen-date trek includes stops at The Obelisk's All-Dayer at Saint Vitus Bar in Brooklyn, New York, Doom Over Toronto Festival at The Smiling Buddha in Toronto, Ontario and Psycho Las Vegas At The Hard Rock Hotel And Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Tickets for all shows are on sale now.
Mars Red Sky will be touring in support of the "Apex III (Praise For The Burning Soul)" full-length, recently issued worldwide via Listenable Records.

Bordeaux, France-based psychedelic stoner doom trio Mars Red Sky will release brand new album "Apex III (Praise For The Burning Soul)" in North America next week (May 20th) via Listenable Records.
Already available to European audiences, "Apex III (Praise For The Burning Soul)" was captured by Gabriel Zander and Jacob Dennis in Studio Cryogene in Bègles, France. Today you can hear the record in its entirety b elow.
Currently on tour in Europe, Mars Red Sky will make its way to North America this summer on a run of live dates through August which will commence in Brooklyn, New York at The Obelisk's All-Dayer and includes an appearance at the Psycho Las Vegas Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mars Red Sky Posts Tour Dates
French doom band Mars Red Sky has posted a series of European tour dates in France, Spain and Greece. More dates will follow, with updates available on the band's facebook page. On June 20th, Mars Red Sky will also be appearing at Hellfest Open Air, sharing the stage with Godflesh, Kylesa, Conan, Kadavar, Royal Thunder, Downfall of Gaia, Caspian and headliners Electric Wizard. Mars Red Sky has also announced that its sophomore album will be imminent in April of 2014, including its first 7" in March. The latter will have the studio version of the song "Satellites," plus an instrumental live track from London's Desert Fest as a B-side.
