Watch: Cannibal Corpse Singer Join Amon On Stage
Cannibal Corpse vocalist George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher joined Amon on stage past Friday, July 21, at the Brass Mug in Tampa, Florida to peform a couple of Deicide classics. Amon is the revived Florida-based death metal outfit featuring former Deicide members Eric Hoffmann (guitar) and Brian Hoffman (guitar) alongside Jesse "Jecheal" Jolly (Promethean Horde, Diabolic) on vocals/bass and Mike Petrak on drums.

Amon Working On Album
Alpha Omega Management is excited to announce the signing of U.S. death metal group Amon, originally formed in 1987 by the Hoffman brothers Eric and Brian.
The band changed the name to Deicide when signing to Roadrunner Records, but the Hoffman brothers resurrected Amon again in 2007, and released the "Liar In Wait" album in 2012.
Currently, Amon is working on new album, featuring Nick Barker (Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, Lock Up, Brujeria, Benediction,Testament, Gorgoroth, Ancient, among the others) on drums.

Vincent Crowley Not Singing For Amon
Original Deicide guitarist has stirred the flames of the Internet recently with statements about Acheron vocalist Vincent Crowley playing in his group, Amon. Vincent Crowley made the following statement via his Facebook page.
"Hails All! I wanted to respond to Amon Eric Hoffman's recent post. I’ve been getting a lot of emails asking if I am the new singer of his band AMON. I believe Eric is re-vamping AMON and wants to get it active again. His post is more or less people he would like to work with. Amon Signs With Possession Productions
The pre-Deicide band Amon, which features the Hoffman brothers, has inked a deal with Possession Productions. The label comments:
"Today we have signed the contract to release limited gatefold LP, digipak CD and various merchandise for the cult American Satanic death metal band Amon. Yes, yes, that Amon that was born in 1987 and became Deicide later.
"As many of you know, years ago the Hoffman brothers left Deicide and started Amon rebirth. The result is the 'Liar in Wait' album that showed the power and darkness of true underground Florida Satanic death metal.
"Today we are starting taking pre-orders for Amon's forthcoming releases. The gatefold LP version of 'Liar in Wait' will be released in 500 copies limited edition in January, 2014. The first 66 copies will contain an embroidered logo patch. The digi-CD version of this album will be released in 1000 copies in January 2014.
