Volume IV Announces Album Release

Atlanta’s Volume IV, featuring Joe Carpenter of Nihilist, has just announced the release of Ripple Music debut album, "Long In The Tooth," which will be coming out in the U.S. on March 11th, and is scheduled to hit the European stores on March 14th of 2014. Ripple Music comments on the band:

"With equal parts elegant beauty and steamrolling aggression, Volume IV serve up a piece of ear candy for the ages with Long In The Tooth. This first release with Ripple Music is a concise, 36-minute thrill ride of swampy metal heroics, featuring heavy grooves, classic bluesy stoner riffs, and an overall impending sense of doom.

"These boys bring back the old school attitude of musical sensibility, working hard to master your instrument, and taking pride in creating a wide pallet of musical styles: Thunderous drumming locked tight within the pocket, bass guitar providing a dense foundation for the thick guitar and gritty yet melodic vocals that lay on top. In a world where everything is mechanized, click-tracked and auto-tuned, Volume IV does it the only way, the honest way, straight from the gut, which is what we need to make music human again and separate the men from the boys. Volume IV Signs With Ripple Music

Ripple Music has announced the signing of hard-hitting American heavy rockers Volume IV to its roster. Volume IV is hard at work recording its debut album for the label, tentatively titled "Long in the Tooth," which will see a 2014 release after the band makes plans to tour and hopefully hit all the major heavy rock festivals.

Volume IV commented yesterday upon the new alliance; "Other than not signing us in the back of a limo over mounds of cocaine, we feel Ripple is one of the best labels going and we are proud to be part of the family!! It's clear that these guys don't compromise in terms of putting out creative music and are true believers of heavy rock. The variety of bands and the sheer quality of music they've released speaks for itself. We're very honored that our music earned its place among their ranks!"
