Necrovation has issued the following announcement about lineup changes and going on hiatus to write new material:
"Short update here. Not much has went in the right direction since we recorded our self titled album. Founding members S. Gadd & A. Bünger are the only ones left in the band since having parted ways with fairly new guitarist F. Almström and good old bass player and friend A. Wanstadius.
"We tried to suit up as a 3 piece with good friend W. Brunn to be able to do some shows, but after a while of trying we decided to lay low and not rush recruiting.
"We'll be focusing on some new material instead. So, going underneath for a while, to surface when the time is right. When ever that is." More...

The new album, out June 26th in Europe and August 14th in the States, is the follow-up to 2008's "Breed Deadness Blood." Agonia Records also commented on the album: "It marks a swift improvement over the band's previous raw death metal style, with more classical and heavy metal influences but still with the classic death metal elements that have been the group's trademark since the beginning. Strong recommendation for those who once liked Metallica, early Entombed, and Morbid Angel.
"Necrovation was mixed and produced by Gustav Burn along with the band members and mastered in Necromorbus Studios (WATAIN, DESTROYER 666) in Stockholm, Sweden. Available formats: CD, limited 12-inch gatefold heavy vinyl with eight pages booklet (first 100 copies of the vinyl on a heavy navy blue vinyl with white haze) and digital download."

The brand new, self-titled album from Swedish act Necrovation, will be released June 26th in Europe and August 14th in the U.S. on Agonia Records. The following press release was issued about the album:
"The successor to the debut offering Breed Deadness Blood from 2008 marks a swift improvement over the band's previous raw death metal style, with more classical and heavy metal influences but still with the classic death metal elements that have been the band's trademark since the beginning. The new album is strongly recommended for those who once liked Metallica, early Entombed, the idea of Morbid Angel or the rawness of Repugnant combined with the obscurity of Kaamos.
"Necrovation has been mixed and produced by Gustav Burn along with the band members and mastered in Necromorbus Studios (Watain, Destroyer 666) in Stockholm, Sweden.
"The release will be available as a standard, practical CD, limited 12” gatefold heavy vinyl with 8 pages booklet (first 100 copies of the vinyl on a heavy navy blue vinyl with white haze) and digital download." More...
