Denouncement Pyre Releasing New Album

Hells Headbangers has set July 22nd as the international release date for Denouncement Pyre's third album, "Black Sun Unbound."

Three years have passed since the release of "Almighty Arcanum," which saw these long-running Aussie tyrants evolving well beyond their blackthrashing beginnings and locating a balance between aggression and atmosphere.

Denouncement Pyre Announces New Album

Today the Australian black/death cult Denouncement Pyre announces the completion of third album, "Black Sun Unbound."

The album will be released during the first quarter of 2016 by Hells Headbangers - with whom Denouncement Pyre has renewed a record contract, and through whom the band released its prior two albums, 2010's "World Cremation" and 2013's "Almighty Arcanum." New release "Black Sin Unbound" will come ahead of the band's performance at Maryland Deathfest 2016.

Again recorded at I-HQ studio outside of Melbourne, "Black Sun Unbound" will feature 10 tracks of black/death metal on which the band has built its unmistakable foundation. The band comments:

"Black Sun Unbound is the most challenging album we have created so far, and we have certainly ventured further into the inner darkness with the new material, through a long and demanding creative process. The writing and recording of this album involved a lot of experimentation, and we have seen a vast range of ideas included, more so than past releases; it is a different album to the first two. Expect new doors to be unlocked and old gods to be awakened!"

Australian black/death metal outfit Denouncement Pyre has wrapped up work on a new full-length release, with the band commenting:

"After many hours of gruelling work at I-HQ studios, we can announce that recording & mixing of the new album in now complete. Mastering will follow shortly. Album title, track listing, artwork & label will be revealed soon."

Promoters for Maryland Deathfest have announced 45 more acts for the 2016 edition of the annual Memorial Day festival bash. Among the list - U.K. doom metal legends Paradise Lost, U.S. doom metal upstarts Crypt Sermon, the reformed Swedish death act Centinex, U.K. legends Discharge, U.S. thrash legends Hirax, soon to be defunct legends Nuclear Blast, U.K. classic metal legends Satan and the mighty Bay Area thrash act Testament.

Maryland Deathfest Confirms 30 Bands For 2016

Promoters for Maryland Deathfest have announced the first slew of thirty bands for the 15th edition of the festival to be held on May 26-29, 2016 in Baltimore, Maryland. Among the list includes: Samael (performing "Ceremony of Opposites" in full), Venom and Exicter.

Denouncement Pyre To Release New EP

Denouncement Pyre has issued the following announcement about releasing a new EP and album:

"Hells Headbangers will release a new 7" EP titled 'Darkness Manifest' in the lead up to the forthcoming album, 'Almighty Arcanum.'

"This EP will provide some insight into what is to manifest with the next full-length and will feature one album track plus an additional track that is exclusive to this release. Both songs were recorded during different sessions to those for the album so they are unique to this EP and will be pressed in a limited quantity to be released late 2012.

"In related news; the recording of Almighty Arcanum is now complete and the tracks have recently been mastered at Endarker Studios Sweden. The album is scheduled for released on CD/LP/Pic LP in January 2013, through Hells Headbangers.

Australia's Denouncement Pyre has issued the following announcement about entering the studio to record the new "Almighty Arcanum" album:

"News Update: Denouncement Pyre will enter the studio over coming months to record the 2nd full-length Album, to be titled 'ALMIGHTY ARCANUM'.

"The album will feature 7 tracks + intros to be released once again on both CD & Vinyl formats by Hells Headbangers Records (USA) later in the year.

"The band will also return to the stage to perform live for the first time in half a decade appearing at Evil Invaders Festival (Sydney, Aus) in June, with more shows to be announced soon. B E W A R E !"
