Edenbridge Issues Recording Update
Austrian metallers Edenbridge have issued the following update about recording a new album:
"We are inmdist the vocal recordings for our 7th studio album and Sabine is doing some fantastic vocal takes. All the instruments are finally recorded and the orchestra parts are also finished. Anthony Clarkson is currently working on the cover artwork. In January Lanvall will fly to England to mix the new CD together with Karl Groom at Thin Ice Studio."
Edenbridge Cancels Caos Emergente Appearance
Austria's Edenbridge has issued the following statement about canceling their appearance at the Caos Emergente Festival in Portugal:
"Sadly we have to announce that we will not play at the Caos Emergente Festival, Recarei-Paredes, Portugal on September 12.
"The promoter Big Dog Productions was not able to provide flight tickets for the band and crew according to the contract.
"After numerous mails from the band for more than 2 months concerning the flight tickets, the promoter put off the band until the last week before the festival just to say that now the flight tickets are too expensive for them, which is no wonder when you wait until the last moment. The proposal from the promoter to fly in the band from Munich instead of Linz according to the contract was logistically not possible for the band to solve in such short time. We would have loved to play for our Portuguese fans!"

Edenbridge Singer Checks In
EDENBRIDGE singer Sabine Edelsbacher has issued the following update:
"It is with great pleasure to speak with you all directly. I wanna say thank you to all you lovely people, who sent me nice e-mails and are in contact with me. To all those who I didn´t responded to: Please forgive me, every mail means a lot to me and I do my very best to answer them all.
As you might know, we are currently on European tour with RAGE. Tonight we play in Pratteln (Switzerland) and we are looking forward for the show. The tour is running fine so far, although the fan base of Rage is not very similar to our fan base. So it´s very nice to meet all our fans who are showing up at our concerts. You can always meet us at the merchandise desk after our show where we sign and have contact to our fans.
We have a lot of fun on stage, but also backstage. Our new drummer Max Pointner and guitarist Dominik Sebastian are meanwhile totally integrated in the band and the nights in the tour bus are getting longer and longer.
Since one week we have a bit more space, cause the Russian band FreaKozaks had to leave the tour because they got no more visa for the rest of the tour. Unfortunately we were not able to sell the new album at our concerts, cause the release date is the 25th of April (so next Friday). But from today on we will sell our new album MyEarthDream. We also have some very nice t-shirts and long-sleeves with the new cover design and as we saw the fans received them very well.
We still have ten shows on tour and two days after our home headliner show in Linz. On May 24 we will play the Rockmania Festival in Dettelbach near Würzburg (Germany). I am looking forward to meet a lot of you there.
Here is a diashow, which was designed by our webmaster Reinhard Schmid. Jonathan Jessup, a very nice fan from the States made wonderful photos of nature and gave us the rights to use them for the diashow. They touched me deeply at first sight. They perfectly fit to our song 'Paramount'. Have a look at it in full screen and if you like it, then please send the link to your friends."

RAGE has set "Carved in Stone" as the title of its new album tentatively due in early 2008 via Nuclear Blast Records. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Carved in Stone", "Drop Dead", "Gentle Murders", "One Step Ahead" and "Without You".
RAGE's new DVD, entitled "Full Moon in St. Petersburg", was released on February 23 via Nuclear Blast. The double DVD set was filmed in St. Petersburg, Russia last year in front of 15,000 fans. "Full Moon in St. Petersburg" contains the complete concert in St. Petersburg, Russia, plus a lot of behind-the-scenes footage and material from personal archives.
RAGE's upcoming CD will be the band's first since the addition of drummer André Hilgers (AXXIS, SILENT FORCE) to the group's ranks. "During [the recording sessions for] the Nuclear Blast anniversary album, we were very surprised how perfectly André's style matched our new song, 'Terrified'," the group wrote on its web site. "So it was obvious that we jammed through the RAGE classics and the sparks flew immediately. André had a lot of new ideas that fitted perfectly our style and the understanding among us was harmonically. He brings a lot of fresh blood and power to the band and we have loads of fun again playing our music."
