Austrian melodic metallers EDENBRIDGE have announced that their new album will be titled "MyEarthDream", scheduled to be released in April 2008 through Napalm Records.
As reported earlier on METALEATER, the orchestra recordings for the album will take place tomorrow (October 12) in Prague, Czech Republic. EDENBRIDGE will be supported by the 65-piece "Czech Film Orchestra" (consisting of musicians from the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and the Czech State Opera Orchestra). The orchestra will be heard on 9 out of 10 songs plus the intro and did recordings for renowned Hollywood productions in the past. Lanvall's (guitar, keyboards) orchestral arrangements are currently put into the final score by famous conductor/composer/accordion virtuoso Enrique Ugarte.
Lanvall is also promising the heaviest, most symphonic album of the band's career.

Austrian symphonic metal band EDENBRIDGE has issued the following update:
"EDENBRIDGE like to welcome Robert Schoenleitner and Sebastian Lanser as their two new members! Robert Schoenleitner already played guitar on EDENBRIDGE's last tour through England and Asia. Robert studied guitar at VGI institute Munich. Sebastian Lanser, who studied drums at the Bruckner University in Linz, will replace Roland Navratil on drums. Sebastian is a longtime friend of Robert. EDENBRIDGE therefore is officially a five-piece again after more than five years."
EDENBRIDGE's rarities/"best of" compilation, entitled "The Chronicles of Eden", was released on June 1. The set was released as a double-CD and limited double-digipack. Disc One contains three new, previously unreleased songs, all Japanese and European bonus tracks and songs that were included on all out-of-print singles. Austrian metallers EDENBRIDGE and drummer Roland Navratil have decided to go on their separate ways "due to personal, musical and financial differences." More news to follow soon.

Austrian symphonic metal band EDENBRIDGE has signed a worldwide deal with Napalm Records.
Commented the group: "Napalm Records have been doing a brilliant job for their bands. Since last year they have been making a great effort to sign us and therefore we are extremely happy to work together with them for the next years to bring EDENBRIDGE to the next level together. It's nice to see again that a label has one hundred percent trust and therefore invests into a band. Thank you also to all the other labels who were making offers to the band and showed their big interest, and to Massacre Records for the cooperation in the past years."

EDENBRIDGE's first effort for Napalm will be released in the spring of 2008. Production on the CD is tentatively scheduled to begin next fall. Four songs have already been written and EDENBRIDGE will work with a renowned Czech orchestra for the first time in its career.

Edenbridge have split from Andreas Eibler on friendly terms. The decision was only music-wise from both sides. Apart from this Andreas wants to orientate himself differently for his future.
Martin Mayr will play the second guitar on the upcoming tour.
Frank Bindig is the new bass player of Edenbridge and had his debut on the last show in Zurich on October 1, 2004.
Norwegian Gothic metallers SIRENIA have issued the following statement:
Jonathan [drums] does not have the possibility to join the up-coming European tour, but everyone can be assured that there is absolutely no need to worry. Austrian "angelic bombast metal" act Edenbridge will release their new album, "Shine", on October 25 via Massacre Records. A limited-edition digipak version will contain a bonus track. The song "Shine" will also be released on November 22 as a four-track digipak EP, featuring two non-album versions of "Shine" (goth mix and single edit), plus the track "Centennial Legend" and the non-album cut "Anthem".
The guitars, bass and keyboards for "Shine" were laid down at guitarist/keyboardist Lanvall's Farpoint Station studio, while the remainder of the recording sessions and the mixing process took place at the House of Audio studios with producer Dennis Ward (Angra, Pink Cream 69).

EDENBRIDGE have revealed through their website (www.edenbridge.org) that they will release their new live album, A Livetime In Eden, on August 30th.
The album will include the following tracklisting: ‘Intro’, ‘The Undiscovered Land’, ‘Skyward’, ‘Holy Fire’, ‘Fly On A Rainbow Dream’, ‘Forever Shine On’, ‘Starlight Reverie’, ‘Perennial Dreams’, ‘The Final Curtain’, ‘Suspiria’, ‘Arcana’, ‘Medley: Sunrise In Eden/My Last Step Beyond’ and ‘Cheyenne Spirit’.
In regards to the band’s upcoming studio album, Shine, a posting at the site reads: “Edenbridge have finished the recordings of guitars, bass and keyboards in the Farpoint Station studio and will be in the House of Audio studios from the 10th of July on. Together with Dennis Ward drums, vocals and the mix will be done within the next weeks.”
As previously reported, Shine is due out through Massacre Records on October 25th.
