"All Else Fails has a surprise for everyone this Saturday! To celebrate our 10 year anniversary, the Original AEF lineup is going to get together for the first time since 2009 to play a few songs off our old albums! We may be older, we may be fatter, we may be dumber, but we definitely have more tattoos. I also want to mention, we literally couldn't have done it without our fans support during the crowdfund campaign that made this all possible. I think it's our best disc yet, and can't wait to hear what you all think." More...
Canadian group All Else Fails is now back from the band's first international tour of India perfoming at Unmaad Fest and the Alcheringa Festival. Set to unleash new EP "The Forever Lie" on February 17th, All Else Fails is today streaming second single "Beneath The Waves."
Vocalist / guitarist Barret Klesko had this to say about the track: "When we were writing 'The Forever Lie,' 'Beneath The Waves' was the turning point in the process, it was the song that really got us excited about the disc.
"It's heavy, but its super melodic, its got an ultra catchy chorus hook, which is followed by some odd time signature heaviness, and it has a ton of variety. It just captures and sums up the album really well. We always try to keep our albums sounding different from each other, and this one to me sounds like nothing we have done in the past."
Canadian group All Else Fails is currently on the band's first international tour of India, having already performed at the Unmaad Fest and now scheduled to play February 4th at the Alcheringa Fest.
Teaming up with Decibel Magazine, vocalist/guitarist Barrett Klesko has shared a series of pics and updates from the trek - check out the full road report right here.

Canadians / Edmonton, AB based All Else Fails is back with the follow-up to 2013 EP "Fucktropolis." New mini-album release "The Forever Lie" is due out February 17th via indie label Suicidal Bride Records.
Vocalist / guitarist Barret Klesko sums up the EP: "'The Forever Lie' is the idea that if we fall in line, we will be taken care of. That we can work hard like our parents and we will be successful. It's that our lives will ultimately have meaning, and that we deserve to be happy. The forever lie is the so called American dream, and that everything will be okay."

It’s been a long time following up with a new album, but we finally have the new songs ready to go, and we are about to unleash 'The Forever Lie.' We’re extremely excited about it and can’t wait to let you all in on it!"

All Else Fails just released a new political message with a video for "AntiMartyr," which can be seen below. Vocalist / guitarist Barrett Klesko comments:
"It's been a long road since we released 'Fucktropolis' almost 4 years ago, and since then we have been in almost constant member changeover hell. Some of it was good, like bringing back original drummer Ryan Biggs, but some, like losing our long time bassist Seedy Mitchell was much harder.
"We have a new bass player, the new album written and in pre-production and it is sounding fresh and awesome, but it was important to us to release 'Antimartyr' as a full single first. With that, it wouldn't have felt right with Mitch's voice coming out of the new guy’s mouth in the video, so we talked him into coming back for one last project, and I'm really happy with the turnout, it seems like a great way to send off an album that treated us so well, and move on to the next grand adventure. Hopefully one that won't take us another 4 years to follow up."

All Else Fails, the loud 'n heavy, lyrically conscious metal band from Edmonton, AB, today announces the departure of long time bassist Seedy Mitchell.
He will be performing his last show with the band on December 5th in Edmonton at the Rendez Vous Pub. With his departure, the band will be moving forward and is currently searching for a new bassist to work with on an upcoming release. Seedy Mitchell has issued the following statement on his departure:
"A Eulogy, to whoever gives a shit,
"This message is to set the record straight and quell speculation surrounding my departure from All Else Fails. First and foremost, I love this band. I love my band brothers, I love the management and I love the fans. You will always be my family and I hope there are no hard feelings, aside from my causing disappointment, between us. There has never been anything but honesty and heart within the band, within the band's music and in the decision making so with respect, I'm going to lay it all out there.
"For a long time I've been at war in my mind because the people involved in this project mean so much to me, but the fact is, I've lost my passion and desire to pursue music in this capacity, and I'm retiring from the idea. A negative and soulless outlook from anyone in a band reverberates throughout the entire project and will inevitably bring it down. For a long time I've felt like a boxed artist, a painter making prints, and I feel like I've been too busy being in a band to do what's right for me, and that's simply writing and recording. Expel the demons and move on. To me, the rest seems trivial and just slows that process down. Having said that, an artist never quits, so keep your ears open. You can expect music from two sources now, and in the meantime, I'll be standing next to you in the crowd, as an AEF fan. More...
