Abyss Records Releases Free Compilation
Axis Of Metal and Abyss Records have teamed again to release a sampler - this twenty-five track compilation is a window into the audio madness that is Abyss Records. You can hear the songs below or over at Bandcamp here. Axis of Metal also comments:
"Throughout the course of this twenty-five track compilation you will make your way through a war-zone of extreme metal of the highest pedigree. This journey will consist of the many different incarnations of extreme metal ranging from black metal, thrash metal, death’n’roll, death metal among the many other varieties the fine folks at Abyss boast."

Nefarious Realm Readying 666 Song Compilation
Nefarious Realm Productions has been putting together a 666 song compilation by 666 bands titled "The Number of the Compilation," (in a nod to Iron Maiden). 171 bands are already confirmed from all different heavier genres and countries, a precursory list of which you may see over at the Nefarious Realm website. Already bands ranging from Ireland's Eternal Helcaraxe, Canada's Hak-Ed Damm and Nervecell from The United Arab Emirates are confirmed, with spots open for 495 more. The bands on the compilation will be both signed and unsigned ones.
Already acts from 22 countries are on it and the artists will be spanning death metal, thrash, black metal, grind, doom, crust, sludge, and other extreme genres. Nefarious Realm Productions will be releasing it as a free download in a 15 part series when the launch date is revealed - around the time 600 bands has been reached. Bands are encouraged to send in an old or a new song to be featured on the anthology, the details and stipulations of which can be learned over at Nefarious Realm's website.
Eternal Helcaraxe Streaming New Songs
Ireland's black metal combo Eternal Helcaraxe has unveiled a couple of new video uploads in preparation for the new debut album, "Against All Odds," which should be released this spring via Abyss Records.

Eternal Helcaraxe Reveals Tracklisting For New LP
Irish black metallers Eternal Helcaraxe has revealed the cover artwork and tracklisting for their Abyss Records debut, "Against All Odds." The album, which is due out later this year, is the follow up to the band's 2010 EP "To Whatever End." The tracklisting is as follows:

Eternal Helcaraxe Signs With Abyss Records
Irish black metal band Eternal Helcaraxe has signed a record deal with Abyss Records. Eternal Helcaraxe's new label will release the band's debut full-length album, entitled "Against All Odds," which will commence recording at Jam Studios in Kells, Ireland in August 2011.
"Against All Odds" follows two MCDs from Eternal Helcaraxe, "Palest Kingdom" and "To Whatever End," are both currently available via Abyss Records.
