Dio Tribute Album "This Is Your Life" To See Release

Ronnie James Dio is one of the most beloved figures in rock history. His gifts, both as a singer and songwriter, are instantly recognizable, whether he was with Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Heaven & Hell, or leading Dio. Sadly, Dio lost his battle with stomach cancer in 2010, but his towering voice and legacy live on.
To celebrate one of rock’s most powerful voices, an all-star group of his friends and fans recorded 13 of their favorite tracks for a tribute album that will raise funds for the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund.
Produced by his longtime manager and wife Wendy Dio, the album includes contributions by such metal heavyweights as Metallica, Motörhead, Scorpions, Anthrax, and Rob Halford, as well as appearances by many of the musicians who performed with Dio over the years.
"This Is Your Life" will be available from Rhino on April 1st, 2014. The track listing is as follows:

I've been comin' here long enough that I get the whole "picture" situation with the post......but fvck it pi$$ed me off seeing Metallica where Dio's awesome 5.4' mug should be.
I was just listening to Heaven And Hell (band, not album) today. I hope they gave this man proper respect with these covers. I know Killswitch Engage made Holy Diver their own in a way and brought it back to the younger scene and I can dig that, it was a great track. Still is. I'll check this out for the other tracks.

ZMA.....You're an idiot!
You can't be happy and excited that people put their lives on hold to show their respect to a true metal hero, that you must find something so small and insignificant to b**** about. These guys (and gals) are putting their talents to the test to even get the privilege to be on this album and you're b****ing about it!?!
To sum up.....You're an idiot!

Tracks 4 and 13 are the only two that I have any reservations about.
"Stone Satchel" covering Rainbow in the Dark might turn out better than I'm expecting. Corey can sing when he focuses well - just not so good in the live setting.
I really can only say so much for Metallica's medley. I hope they don't half-azz it and hope they will have limited involvement in the mixing.
The rest of the contributors sounds Killer.
Saxon's singer with Motorhead - sweet!
Oni Logan singing "I" - Great choice. He's pretty underrated if you ask me.
Halestorm may seem a bit odd, but Lizzy's voice fits, IMO.
Then you have other great singers and personal friends of Dio like Joey Belladonna, Rob Halford, Doro, and Glenn Hughes.
This should be a great tribute!
