Swedish director Patric Ullaeus (Lacuna Coil, In Flames) of Revolver Film Company is working on a promotional clip for the DIMMU BORGIR track "Vredesbyrd", filmed at The Huntridge Theater in Las Vegas on July 30, 2004.
"Vredesbyrd" comes off DIMMU BORGIR's most recent album, "Death Cult Armageddon" (2003), which has sold over 65,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
DIMMU BORGIR, who recently took part in the Ozzfest 2004 tour, are expected to take a lengthy break before beginning work on their next studio album, tentatively due in 2006.

Hey muffy I'm a liberal. I dont take kindly to that comment about 'liberal homos'. f***ing die. You would do us all a favor if you did so.
As for dimmu, I like their new stuff, but havent heard much of their old stuff. Anybody, whats some of their good older songs to check out? Muffy, Dimmu isnt a piece of sh**. They are pretty good. Brad said he hated dimmu, im fine with his opinion, but he didnt go about expressing it like a d***head. Muffy, just f***in go away.

I just think it's great some Scandinavian metal is finally getting some spotlight. I wish Susperia would put out
a video. I know their Death/Thrash but I would think they would do good here in the states if they toured.
I need some opinions on Unlimited one of these days I might get it.

Wishes can come true if they are within your power. Nothing is stop you from making your wish of death come true. Like I said, there is only one way that you can do that. But you better hurry up and do so, before someone else does. As for me, I have no wish for that on myself. Though, I do expect it to happen; It will not because of me. FUKK SUICIDE!!! Suicide's For p***ies!!!

I've listened to Dimmu since well before they became "famous" (back when everything satanic was underground music, and shunned by the "average" joe). Their earlier material is in my opinion way superior (apart from the quality of the sound). Much of their later work is an excersice in frustration, with the occational good track in between. Early Dimmu Borgir (as i see it) is up to and including the album "Enthrone Darkness Triumphant". Listen to songs from their album StormblÄst (stormswept / windswept), or the even older "For All Tid" (for all time / always) for some idea of how their earlier works is :) All songs on those two albums are in Norwegian though. Personal favorites are "Alt Lys Er Svunnet Hen" (all light has faded) and "StormblÄst". If you havent already, also make time to listen to "Mourning Palace", the opening track of Enthroned Darkness Triumphant, its a great track (along with others like "In Deaths Embrace", etc). After Enthroned... however, the band started sliding downhill in my opinion :/

hmmm, i dont think i have heard of any of those bands, im sorry. Did a little search for them though, and they both sound interesting. I'll see if i can get a hold of a couple of their songs to see if their style is to my liking :)
The Finnish bands i listen mostly to at the moment are Ensiferum and Norther, great bands both (must admit i like Ensiferum best tho...lol)
