"some music was meant to stay underground..."

First In Studio Videos On Sophomore LP Posted By Timo Tolkki's Avalon

Timo Tolkki's Avalon entered East Sound Studios in Helsinki, Finland to begin the recordings for the sophomore album and follow up to "Land of New Hope." For the new album, Tokki is reunited with former Stratovarius bandmates Tuomo Lassila on drums and Antti Ikonen on keyboards, who played on the first three Stratovarius albums ("Fright Night", "Twilight Time" and "Dreamspace").

The new album will feature 11 tracks with a release slated during 2014 via Frontiers Records. Timo Tolkki states: "It is incredibly refreshing to create and play new music with his old friends and that the spirit and the atmosphere has been absolutely great and positive!”
