Fan Stabbed At Broken Hope/Deicide Show In El Paso

Broken Hope is currently out on the road with Deicide on the "No Salvation" tour and has posted the following message online about a fan having his throat cut during a show:
"Broken Hope just learned a fan got their throat cut with a box cutter during Broken Hope's set tonight in El Paso. Cops and paramedics are all over the place. Please send warm wishes to this fan."
A local news organization, KTSM.com, also reported on the situation:
At least two people were hospitalized after a fight at a metal concert in Downtown El Paso.
It happened at Tricky Falls on South El Paso Street near East Overland at about 11 last night. Police said at some point, a fight broke out and at least one person was stabbed in the neck.
One person who was there said he saw two people fighting in the mosh pit during the Deicide concert and then people pulled the two away from each other.
Paramedics took at least two people to University Medical Center with serious injuries. Police were investigating.

My brother was stabbed at this concert, he says that some random guy grab him and tried to cut his throat but he fighted and just got a "superficial" cut on one side of the neck, when he turn around this same guy was stabbing somebody else. One of the 3 that was attacked was on critical conditions hope he can recover soon.

Bullies....simple as that. I was at incantation/immolation show a good 7/9 years ago...mosh pit begins and someone got punched....dude getting punched got p***ed but hey it happens....if you dont like getting hit why the hell youre in the pit? Oh wait....you like hitting others but dont like getting hit?......so you get hit by accident-mind you.....and now you pull knives and attempt to kill your metal brother?......fking a$$hole....

guess SF wasn't the rowdiest show on the No Salvation Tour after all. (Plus with Death Angel playing a block up the street, it had an old school vibe.) Lookin at my shirt, this was the 19th out of 22 shows on this tour, don't blame Deicide for club's security fail!

I was at the show and the fight broke out during the Broken Hope set. I watched the poor guy being helped out the front door by his friends. I hope all of the victims are ok. Why can't we just come together and share in the music we love so much. A true tragedy
