After releasing "Illusions Of Grandeur" last year to critical acclaim, Sweden's Evocation is now ready to release a new EP, entitled "Excised And Anatomised," featuring five cover versions of metal classics.

Evocation's rendition of "Corporal Jigsore Quandary" can now be heard below, thanks to Decibel Magazine.

Due out digitally on September 3rd in North America, "Excised And Anatomised" is available for pre-order at CM Distro on dark red vinyl (USA exclusive color limited to 100 copies).

The track listing is:

Side 1
1. ... For Victory (originally by BOLT THROWER)
2. Corporal Jigsore Quandary (originally by CARCASS)
3. You Suffer (originally by NAPALM DEATH)

Side 2
1. Enigma (originally by EDGE OF SANITY)
2. Terminal Spirit Disease (originally by AT THE GATES)

All songs on "Excised And Anatomised" were recorded at the band's own Evocation Studios with Dan Swanö handling mixing and mastering at Unisound Studios. The cover and layout were once again created by Xaay, who previously worked with Evocation on the band's last two studio albums.
