Aargh!!
Music overdose.
I just got Tesseract’s new one today and now Sabbath tomorrow.
I’m almost glad I get a two week break between these two and the new Queensryche.
I need time to properly digest all this awesomeness.
Oh, the video….pretty cool and I hate videos.

Mixed on the new Sabbath. Overall, not bad, some fine moments, no doubt. One of the songs sounds so similar to Planet Caravan. Still like all the Dio/Sabbath albums better than this one, has nothing to do with Ozzy. He actually surprised me, they kept him away from the vocal effects, so he sounds nothing like his solo albums for the past 20 years. Not a bad effort though, i was expecting worse.

I agree with BG on this one…Sabbath nailed it.
This is the sound I was hoping for…old doom.
Glad I got the extended version even the bonus tracks are good.
You wanna put this one on, lay on the couch and veg out for an hour.
Ozzy sounds better than I ever could have hoped for.
I’m very happy with this purchase.

Yea BG, the one with the bongos, very similar to Planet Caravan. I've only listened to the album once, didn't hate it, but it didn't blow me away neither . I think some of Iommi's leads, and the bass work of Geezer carry this album. Surprisingly, Ozzy didn't destroy this like i thought he would. They didn't embarass themselves, a decent effort, worth the clams i spent at Wally world for it.

definitely not as hideous as I predicted, and I am quite happy about that...but then, its really not that great either...a bit boring actually. Brian nailed it, it makes a decent background soundscape for napping on the couch ;)
All in all, not a bad middle-of-the-end-of-the-road type record from a rumbling trio of old farts
