Yo, if you got something bad to say about slipknot, don't be on the friggin web site about them, people like you are so bullfaced and pure stupid, if you don't like the friggin band don't go on the web site, DUH!!!
AND I CAN NOT WAIT TO SEE THE MUSIC VIDEOS, i'm gunna like crap my pants.
All of our questions are answers to our sins.
All of our endings are waiting to begin.

Wow, lots of love for Joey. Thats cool cos the man deserves it. But credit must go to Mick (7) for blowing us all out of the water with his evil new solos. Slipknot is all the better for it. Now he's earned the right to have a BC Rich signiture Warlock axe (if i'd have waitied a while i'd own one now, ahh well i'll have to settle for my Plat Pro Warlock instead), putting him in the same field as Kerry King and Tripp Eisen. Well maybe not Kerry, when Slipknots been going strong for 21 years like Slayer have then he'll be in the same field as KFK.

nah, the new knot album has been the best so far. The songs are way more melodic and they really put alot of effort into it. st. anger is a different sounding album yes but i like it. you should not complain people, st. anger was their album. an album for them to write the music they wanted to write. they are getting older, they cant keep up their thrash metal as previous years. Each of one their albums has a new sound which is a good thing. i get tired of listening to the same old crap over and over again. it shows what they can really do, any kind of music they can play. you should have noticed the sound changing after every new release. you should have guessed this album was going to be different aswell as all of the other ones. dont call yourself a die hard metallica fan if you are going to criticize the new album. i went to one of their shows recently and they were great as always. as they grow older they are going to expierement with new sounds. how would you like to be playing the same stuff over and over. anyway vol. 3 the subliminal verses is an extremely good album. one of the best albums out actually so go out and get it for sure.

The new slipknot album is the greatest album of all time (joint with 'the end of heartache' - KsE and 'The war of art' AHC)....
But one thing i don't get is that f***ing love metal bolloks that is polluting the metal scene...i thought linkin park and limp d***spit were bad enough but now HIM... It's bands like HIM who are destroying metal, Even if you like them...no one can deny it....f***ing great bands like Slipknot, slayer, chimaira, C.O.F, KsE, AHC, Napalm death, soulfly/sepultura, twelve tribes, kittie, etc etc our getting there arses kicked by a bunch of love p***ies on a mission to destroy the music we love....soon metal will be sooo underground that we won't even be able to buy there stuff anymore....
HAIL SATAN!

Kerry King's solos suck?!! Let me tell you something no Slayer no
Slipknot enough said! And I actually like the Knot but after yesterday when they
were playing a lot of thier new album they pale in comparison to Slayer's fukking
monstrous act and their pioneering music!

I said what I said.Kerry and Jeff have been playing the same annoying solo since Reign in Blood. Most Slayer songs I hear start off with a bad a$$ riff, some superb drumming, great vocals,at this point Im like "f*** yeah"then all of a sudden here come Kerry and Jeff with their solos. The song is ruined for me.Im not dogging Slayer as a band, they rule, they are the official kings of metal. But Kerry and Jeff need to go into different directions with their solos.Im not saying Mick and James are better, but I did enjoy their solos on Vol.3 more than I enjoyed any of Slayer's solos. Now,here's a video of Mick that I think is pretty cool.He can play.Your bias if you dont think so:http://www.line6.com/media/SpiderII/video/Slipknot_Mick.wmv

brad,if you want to get some amount of respect here, use some puctuation so you dont sound like a moron.Anyway,I never said Slipknot was as good as Slayer, nor did I say they were better.I truely think Slayer wins hands down.Expect for a few aspects. It doesnt matter who plays better?Uh,I think it does.Learn more about Slipknot before you say they suck.I bet you've never even given them a fair listen,an open ear for Vol.3 may change your opinion, that is,if your willing to drop your bias opinion on them.Slipknot is actually the one of the only bands Kerry shows admiration towards.Thats big considering Kerry hates just about everything. He says Slipknot's s/t put him in writing mode.Thats huge praise coming from him.As well as Jeff and Tom saying they like them too.Slipknot doesnt belong with those nu metal bands they get lumped up with,if Fear Factory is considered metal,I dont see why Slipknot wouldnt be.

37. writes:
It just bewilders me how in the fukk you would compare Mick and Jim's guitar
playing to the fukking great Mr. King and Mr. Hannemans guitar playing.
Especially the soloing! Im no musician but I've been listening to metal for
a longass time and Slipknot can't even compete in the musicl abilities of
the mighty Slayer! Esp. the solos I mean hell Kerry made the Beastie Boys
sound good at least for one song!

38. writes:
Hey guys. Did you remember the sum 41 video with someone from Slayer on it??? That was very gaylike.
(Mick is one of thee best guitar players for me because the sounds he make is not awkward to hear. Like the opening guitar sound from their song surfacing. Very nice. This shows that he is creative.)

39. writes:
Rellik, are you actually braindead enough to put Mick Thompson above KFK on the "Best Metal Guitarists" list? You are a goddamn wanker if you truly believe yourself there.
And before you dismiss me as a Knot hater I'll have you know I loved the hell out of self-titled and Iowa and I love the hell out of Vol. 3. And I bloody paid for em' too, not downloaded em like the rest of you scum.
Besides, Dimebag and Zakk kick both their asses.

42. writes:
ryan, this is the web.If someone is gonna post their opinion here they should at least make an effort to use proper grammer so they can be taken seriously. As opposed to making your statements look like they were made by a 12 year old.
KMADD and Metal_666,not once did I say Mick and James were better than Kerry and Jeff.Do a little more close scrutinization to my statements before you accuse me of saying something I never said.First of all I didnt create no "Best Metal Guitarist" list.If I did,Slayer and Slipknot guitarists would not be that high on it.Not saying either of them are bad,but there are much better ones out there.

46. writes:
I know Slayer's solo a lot of times sound the same but hey its Slayer!
nuff said!!! I know there are better players out there Zakk, Yngwie, Glenn and
KK, Dave and Adrian, Eddie, Trey Azagthoth in the soloing dept. and so on!
But Slayer has such an influence on basically 4 kinds of metal Death, Black,
Thrash and hell gasp nu-metal! And after many and I mean many years
of listening to them I never got sick of listening to them-nuff said!!

47. writes:
slayer's solos are technical but ordinary. araya as a vocalist plain sucks though. They just seem to take away any pure substance and emotion out of their music. They've been around so many f***ing years and have never managed to break the barrier to greatness. Mix metal music with araya's vocals and u get thrash - f**k thrash.

48. writes:
All this sh** about "Nu-Metal" and "Nu-Metal" bands aren't even bands is a load of sh**. Its the stupidest thing I've ever heard. I've never seen so many hypocrites in my life. Music is music no matter how you pick at it and examine it. Stop being a bunch of f***ing idiots and go die somewhere else, and take your bullsh** with you.
Slipknot is f***ing amazing, and their evolution makes them even better.
I can't wait for the new videos, I'm curious to see how they'll handle and put them together.

50. writes:
angel, if you have actually heard the songs then you should know how
they would put them together, first part 1 and then part 2!!!
and dammit, Slayer is way better, none of you know what music is
if you have no respect for Slayer!!!
and Tom Araya is one of the best vocalists in thrash. you have no idea what
anything is, go die in a hole.

51. writes:
I guess people that disagree with your opinions need to "go die in a hole" right? Not everyone likes Tom's voice and not everyone likes Slayer.Get over it.Stop believing you have a superior opinion and anyone that has a different one needs to "go die in a hole".I love Slayer, without them metal wouldnt be where it is today. You dont need to blow up on everyone that say's something at least borderline negative about them. What if someone were to disrespect The Beatles?Would you be quick to come to their defense?Probably not.Even though they have been far more influencial than Slayer will ever be.
BTW,I didnt "yell" at brad.My mouth was completely shut while I typed it.I was only talking about his carry-on sentence statements.Example:"actually the solos started to change on seasons of the abyss and in most of the songs on god hates us all they arent the real fast paced see how fast i can play solos."
Yeah.

53. writes:
i have more Beatles albums than Slayer albums.
i've been listening to The Beatles my ENTIRE LIFE!!!
and i was using the "go die in a hole" thing as an expression. jeez.
i don't think i have a superior opinion. i just wish people would have
some respect for a band that influenced half of the Nu-metal s**t bands
that they listen to!!!!!!!

54. writes:
Finally, someone gave a comment about the news. Why don't you people get out of here. This is not a SLAYER message board. Can't you read the SLIPKNOT name. And why keep comparing their guitarists? Will this make them gods or something. JUST WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE TRYING TO PROVE??? I get sick of your comments. There are only a few about the real topic. Maybe you can compare their videos because the news is about a Slipknot video, right?
(Stupid people always trying to prove something.)

55. writes:
The Slayer discussion is pretty much over.brokenwings13,I see where your coming from.
Anyway!!!*cough cough*on topic*cough cough*The Vermilion single is coming out in October. Its gonna have Vermilion pt.1,Scream,the Vermilion video, and the full 8 minute version of Danger-Keep Away.

56. writes:
hmmmmmmm...................in my opinion there is no number 1 guitar player ................but man when it comes to making heavy riffs nobody can beat DINO CAZARES.................to bad that he left FEAR FACTORY but mick still kicks major a** though................

59. writes:
I'll buy the single just for the whole cut of Danger - Keep Away.
Is anyone else exicited about the kickass movie that Vermillion will be appearing on: Resident Evil: Apocalypse?? As a fan of the original RE movie and a big fan of the RE games, I'm fukkin psyched!! Horror movies rule!?!
Who loved House of 1000 Corpses?? COS I FUKKIN' DID!!!

62. writes:
i loved House of 1000 Corpses. i can't wait for the sequel.
and KMADD, yeah your right. no beatles no sabbath. i've met
so many people who say things about the beatles and stuff and
i ask them if they listen to sabbath and they say "yeah". and then
i tell them, "without the beatles, you would have no music."
i mean come on, look how many bands are influenced by black sabbath?

63. writes:
Yep both Tony and Ozzy are both heavily influenced by the early beatles
and rockabilly and blues. Hell I've seen a video where Ozzy is singing
Blue Suede Shoes in the late 60's. Plus listen to the first Sabbath album
there is a boatload of Blues influence on that record. The song
The Wizard is a perfect example of the influences on Sabbath!
And the by the way Nu-metal music fans we as in real metal fans will
continue talk to pounce on you when it comes to your shiitty bands and
saying stupid things like if you dont like our opinions and nu-metal fag
news then get off the forum. But Consider yourself warned it's going
to get worse. And this is a battle call for my brothers and sisters that
listen to real metal to attack and win the arguments!!!

77. writes:
ok first of all the new albulm is one of the best album i have ever heard
second if you are going to talk bad about slipknot in a SLIPKNOT FORUM let me repeat that talk bad about slipknot in a SLIPKNOT FORUM your frigin stupid
oh ya and finally you say their guitarist is so bad but guess what hes in a band and your not
and i cant wait for the new videos

79. writes:
I've never said I didn't like Slipknot there about the only thing close to
nu-metal I listen to I just said I wasn't too impressed with their new
songs when I saw them at Ozzfest! And I heard mixed reviews on the
new album from actual Slipknot fans! Plus this is not one particular
forum this is metalunderground.com and be prepared for some
criticism from folks that are more hardcore into metal than I am!

80. writes:
You guys gotta quit b****ing at each other about who's better, Slayer or Slipknot. You aren't going to convince each other. I'm not trying to start another fight, but I think that it's pretty tough to deny the talent of all the guys in Dillinger Escape Plan. In my opinion they dominate.

94. writes:
Cool then.
You know, i never would have started listening to Slipknot until my life slowly turned
to sh**. Then i started to go crazy...really crazy. And their music to me is like a reflection of my own self-tortured brain............i know, too much info, but i thought i'd mention that.
