Oct. 4th @ Bell Centre, Montreal
Oct. 6th @ Air Canada Centre, Toronto
Oct. 7th @ Coral Centre, Ottawa

If this web site is to live up to its name "underground metal" than in my opinion u guys should stay clear of bands like metallica; unless its a story that exploits their hypocracy. I'm unrelenting when it comes to keeping metal pure & true. also, thankyou 4 having the balls to keep my comments posted. deathbringer could take a few lessons from u on how to sound off with a pair.

I'm not a big fan of nu-Metallica either, but we'll continue to post Metallica news nonetheless because people still want to read it, and they are still metal icons even if they've lost their way.

Your premise behind excluding Metallica news is as ignorant as anyone else who says xxxx band is not REAL METAL. Now we can argue about who's UNDERGROUND METAL as well. There is plenty of underground metal news here and the fact that we report on Metallica stories does not detract from that any more than Fox News reporting on Kerry makes them a left-wing news channel. I can tell by number of reads an article [page; not the general news page] gets that many people like to read about Metallica, so you have no grounds for that arguement.
Yes, in fact, we discuss and promote ALL Metal here, but a goal is to help people find out about lesser known bands as well. Let me put it in terms of economics and value as well, and then let's end this crap. If this site contains info about and appeals to the fan bases of many other well-known metal bands, its worth in exposing and promoting UNDERGROUND bands is hugely increased as compared to a site that only appeals to a smaller niche. Metallica was my personal entry into the realm of real metal and from there, I continued to discover heavier and more extreme metal that I grew to like (it took me a while to even warm up to Pantera and Sepultura back then). So in short, we're not a bunch of metal elitists trying to tell you who is real metal. But we try to give you news and info on a variety of metal bands so that you can keep up with the news on your favorites as well as check out and discover new bands as well.
