I liked Black Gives Way To Blue and this is alright, it sounds like Alice In Chains at least, which is more than we can say for the new Soundgarden material. I don't think the new AIC stuff has been mind blowing or anything, but it's still one of the best options in popular rock music.

Oh well, each to their own. I guess I just miss Layne's raspy vocals and more uptempo stuff like Dam That River etc.
Then again, I have said earlier the AIC V2.0 is not really my thing, so perhaps I shouldn't comment on their new stuff.
Still love Cantrell's guitars though and that amazing Bogner/Marshall sound.
