Helix CD, DVD And Tour Update

Canadian rockers Helix have issued this update on their official website:

"The new anniversary CD 'Never Trust Anyone Over 30' is available on the merchandise section of the website and the history DVD '30 Years of Helix: No Rest for the Wicked' will be available shortly. 'Never Trust Anyone Over 30' is a collection of songs from our independent CDs, plus 3 new tracks. '30 Years of Helix: No Rest for the Wicked' is the band's history video which contains footage from Super 8, video, still shots, etc. E.M.I. will also be releasing their own anniversary CD entitled '30 Years of Helix' and a DVD of the 30th Anniversary Concert filmed at The Sanderson Centre in Brantford. This DVD is to be tentatively released October 1st. From what I could see on the monitors as it was going down it's going to look fantastic.

Alice Cooper Show - Windsor, Ontario
Wednesday night's gig at the Chrysler Theatre in Windsor was sold out. Helix rocked out and by the end of our set, we had the first 5 rows of the theatre on their feet. Alice was, as usual, great. Thanks to everyone who came down to the show and to those who emailed us after the gig.

Alice Cooper / Foghat / Edgar Winter - Harris Park, London, Ontario
We hit the stage Friday afternoon to over 5,000 fans and rocked out under a hot afternoon sun. Got to meet the Cooper band, Foghat, and Edgar Winter. Next week I'm on holidays, so it was a great way to end off.

Gander Newfoundland Gig
On Saturday August 7, we will be returning to Newfoundland for one show in the city of Gander. Word spread quickly after our St. John’s show a month earlier on how the new line-up kicks some serious butt - the main consideration in hiring us. The concert is being thrown by the Search and Rescue Team and they are expecting a couple of thousand people at the show. The show is being promoted by KROC"
