Speaking The King's Inks Deal With Nuclear Blast Records
Metalcore act Speaking the King's from Orange County, California has signed a worldwide deal with Nuclear Blast Records. STK’s vocalist Bobby Burap comments on the new partnership:
“Very few bands get the opportunity to take their act to an international level. That being said... we are extremely excited to announce that Speaking the King's have signed to Nuclear Blast Records. It's an absolute honor to be able to work with such a juggernaut in the current music scene. Having so many prominent bands on their roster, we're striving to carry on this tradition of excellence with our desire to work hard and produce the best product possible. Thank you to everyone who has supported us from day one. This is only the beginning.”
Nuclear Blast also issued the following press release:
"Formed during the winter of 2011, Speaking the King's demos quickly captured the attention of A Day To Remember producer, songwriter, and former guitarist Tom Denney (Pierce The Veil, Secrets), who ushered the band into his Florida-based studio to record their first arsenal of music. Mixed by Zeuss (Suicide Silence, Stick To Your Guns, Close To Home), the band’s debut album is slated for a 2013 release.
"STK’S has shared stages with We Came As Romans, Of Mice & Men, Blessthefall, Winds of Plague, and Bleeding Through. View photos of Friday’s benefit show with Blessthefall for the 'Pathways of Hope' non-profit organization on the band’s Facebook page.
"Speaking the King's shot a video last week in Los Angeles for the new song 'Casanova' with director DJ Cosgrove. Captured live at Chain Reaction in 2012, 'One Foot At A Time' is Speaking the King's first video."
