Ozzfest Hartford was amazing...
Highs:
God Forbid were soo intense...as were Slipknot...total chaos
Lamb of God tried to reenact Braveheart by having the crowd part down the center and charge each other
Black Sabbath played War Pigs with images of George Bush on a wanted poster and comparing him to Hitler on the video.There enterence was really cool....Silloutted behind a curtain
Judas Priest stole the show...Amazing stage setup and performance...complete with Harley Davidson
Phil Anselmo vommited on stage and was thrown a joint by an audience member
Lows:
Dimmu Borgir didnt go down very well....Seemed to limp off the stage at the end but most people had their minds made up b4hand.
Slayer never played Angel of Death....Raining Blood was the only track off that album and Postmortum
didnt precede it.

Last night in MA, Dimmu started off with Spellbound, then Vredesbyrg, Kings, Progenies and Mourning Palace.
The new drummer seemed to miss a few things here and there and the rest of the band was really trying to cover it up. Despite their attempts some parts were very discordant. I've seen Dimmu live 4 times and last night was kinda disappointing. Still had a blast tho :)
Black Sabbath's performance was quiote zealous, something I never really expected, given their age. Overall, great fest and awful sunburn :(

Hardcore sucks c***! anything that has to do with punk sucks big fat c***! Hardcore is nothing but punk with heavier guitars and a double bass drum! Hardcore doesn't have the same soul as METAL. Metal is the superior music! Punk is nothing but a bunch of whinning little b****es. Hatebreed has no business being on Ozzfest, along with all the other Hardcore bands! and why do they even call it hardcore? It's easylistening to me! they should call it PussCore!

If Atreyu really said that sh** then they have no buisness being on Ozzfest. Another thing is that Hatebreed should be at Ozzfest. Their songs are awesome. That guy has the most incredable guitar tone ever. The sh** they write is more Thrash the "hardcore". Plus i don't think a band should have to be confined to a "genre". Metal is metal. wheather its Thrash, Hardcore, Death, or whatever the f***. I like Hatebreed i love SLAYER it doesn't matter what it is....i guess the key point is that the music is more important.

Ozzfest 2004 great - first one for me - Devil driver I like the way they interact with their fans, and not making them pay for a cd so they will sign it, the bands should sign anything , we paid enough to get in, second - slipknot should be on main stage , they're great but so many of us couldnt see cuz some dumb a$$ people would put their girlfriends on their shoulds or some big a$$ would stand in front, wish i had a pellet gun. But it was an awesome show and next time people when you leave the parking lot - relax enjoy some music while you wait and stop being so damn impatient you guys should have been in a great mood after a full day of music................

You (Alex) are a ungrateful pr$ck, you got a whole lot of publicity thanks to Ozzy and this is how you thank him.
