The Gate Splits With Vocalist Guido Krämer
German metal band The Gate has parted ways with vocalist Guido Krämer. In a post on the band's official Facebook Page, Krämer stated:
"Dear friends of THE GATE
I desire to officially announce today that I left the band. In recent months, there were constant disagreements. It was always about the songwriting and the external representation. I left the THE GATE in friendship and I wish them all the best in the future. I sincerely thank you all for your support! Of course I will continue to rock! Support THE GATE and my new projects!
Guido"
The band is currently seeking a new vocalist. The Gate features ex-Running Wild guitarist Gerald Warnecke a/k/a "Preacher." The band issued its debut LP "Earth Cathedral" in August 2011 through Rock It Up Records.
