Saxon To Begin Working On New Album Next Week
British heavy metal veterans Saxon have announced that they will be beginning work on their next studio album next week, their first since 2011's, "Call To Arms," which saw top 20 success in both Germany and Sweden. A short update from drummer Nigel Glockler reads:
"Working on getting the home studio tidy and then off next week for writing sessions for the next Saxon album…busy busy busy!"
The band will be performing at several European festivals this Summer, with the following confirmed:
April 28 - Dortmund, Germany - Rock in den Ruinen
May 26 - London, UK - Hammersmith Apollo (opening for JUDAS PRIEST)
August 2-4 - Wacken, Germany - Wacken Open Air
