Judas Priest And Slayer Confirmed For Ozzfest 2004

Billboard.com is reporting that SLAYER, JUDAS PRIEST and SLIPKNOT will join OZZY OSBOURNE as the mainstage acts on this year's Ozzfest, set to begin in early July. Details of the tour will be announced next week in Los Angeles Other bands said to be "all-but-confirmed" are: Hatebreed, Superjoint Ritual and Dimmu Borgir.
Other bands who are said to be "in-talks" with playing Ozzfest this year are as follows:
In Flames, Lacuna Coil, Fear Factory, Black Label Society, and Unearth.The official press-release for bands and dates will be announced Thursday, February 19th.

Slayer, Priest, and Dimmu Borgir, Thats a awsome line up, but why did they have to ruin it with sh**knot? Super joint ritual would be sort of cool if they played like they had talent. As long as we have 2/3rds of the talent of pantera with damgeplan (Dime and Vinnie, Rex Brown is the other third of the talent of PanterA). And Fear Factory and Hatebreed should all be hanged with barbed wire. In Flames kicks a$$ as does BLS and who the hell is Lacuna Coil? who ever sets up the bands for ozzfest should be burned alive. this year has potenial but ever since '97 Ozzfest has sucked. Let a Norweigen or a Sweed decide who gets to be on the bill and then you'd get a Brutal Line-up

Slipknot always puts on an amazing show, and always has insain pits. Put them back to back with Slayer and you have instant death. And your gonna be so drunk, that even if you dont like Slipknot, you prolly wont even notice them onstage.
What they should do, is have In Flames be 2nd to last on the second stage, and then close it with Manowar. Now thats what I call Metal. \m/

First off half you guys dont know what your talking about. Dimmu Borgir? they suck!! what is that Dracula opra. "Fueled by the hatred for man" give me a break. First off Slayer owns every band there. Hatebreed demands respect from anyone whos not into sissy goth crap. Not to mention Lamb of God, they destroy. And so does Killswitch Engage. Slipknot is just the icing on the cake. This is by far the best Ozzfest lineup since 97 and 98. Get Chimaira on there and that will be right up there with Tattoo the Earth.

Sounds good, all we need is BLS, RobZombie, and I really dont care who else comes for the second stage. But first stage being Ozzy, RobZombie Priest BLS Slayer Slipknot will be awesome if it happens. That would be great. I know Slipknot is going to open main stage, I just have a feeling.

i love how everyone's getting all huffy and saying "f*** the darkness." they're a f***ing joke dude! they're SUPPOSED to be! SLAYER is reason enough to go, because they will always be the s**t and anyone who doesn't like Slayer can f***ing die as far as I'm concerned. And Phil Ansemlo IS the talent of Pantera!!!! Well, not THE talent, everyone in that band is amazing at what they do, but Phil is easily one of the best vocalists in metal. Get Killswitch and Shadows Fall on there too.

This year sounds F***ing awsome to me. Lacuna Coil....how'd they get on there?? they aren't that great, well they are alright, but get some better bands on there. Iced Earth would be perfect in this line up, or Arch Enemy. Arch Enemy kicks @$$, Angela Gossow kicks @$$. Who says girls can't do metal..? Unloco is pretty good in concert, saw them last year in the Music as a Weapon tour. Slipknot may not be metal like Slayer, but they don't suck @$$ like everyone here thinks...they deserve to be on this lineup, just not on headlining, but they're a name everyone knows...what do you people expect? Dimmu Borgir, now thats going to be F***ing awsome! This year will be awsome! okay I said awsome a lot, but what else can describe this year??

Slipknot doesn't have enough talent to be in the same state as Slayer. Dimmu is crap too. Slayer is the best, ozzy ain't sh** compared to them. Granted Black Sabbath started heavy metal, but Slayer owns it. Ozzy is washed, Slayer is still going strong. Judas Priest had a homo in the band, enough said. All of these other bullsh** bands like Soulfly can't touch Slayer. Their talent is impeccable, and their music is unmatched. f*** you if you doubt that.

saw slayer backin 84 & priest in86 both kicked butt. ozzy on the other hand played 1/2 a set when i saw him. jake fell off the stage & ozzy apologized. ozzy treats his x band members like crap! replacing them on remixed albums & screwing uptheir names on purpose on the cd jackets. sharon u suck! & i hope ozz brings his glasses to oz fest so he can read the lyrics on the teleprompter he needs to remember his lyrics his band members have to write forhim...ozz u r unique i will give u that but talent? leave that to your "back upband!!!
