Unisonic Streaming New Single "Unisonic: Ignition," EP Due Late January 2012

German band Unisonic, featuring former Helloween members Kai Hansen (guitars) (Gamma Ray, Ex-Iron Savior) and Michael Kiske (vocals) (Place Vendome, Avantasia) are streaming the debut single "Unisonic: Ignition" (heard below).

The band will release the debut mini album of the same name in late January 2012 through earMUSIC/Edel. The EP will feature the single, a demo track and a cover of the Helloween song "I Want Out." A full length album is expected later in the year.

"I Want Out" is obviously a killer song, but sometimes I tire of so many Euro power metallers - especially those featuring Helloween alumni - covering it, studio or live. Come on, can you be any more predictable??
