Superjoint Ritual, Slipknot, Hatebreed, First Confirmations of Ozzfest 2004

According to a source close to the band, SUPERJOINT RITUAL is confirmed for this years OZZFEST. Also, according to numerous reports, HATEBREED and SLIPKNOT have been confirmed to "Co-Headline" the second stage. Fans that have talked to Jamey Jasta directly have been told they will be playing, and will be playing before SLIPKNOT. This news was also posted in a forum on HATEBREED's official site by the admin. No official words as of yet, keep checking back for more information!

Killswitch Engage!!! They definitly have to play again. They rocked in Ozzfest 2003, best preformance on the second stage last year. They were Awesome at Headbangers Ball. Like everyone sez their preformance is a must see, along with bands like Lamb of God, and Shadows Fall, and Posion the Well. But my all time favorite band has to be Killswitch Engage. Just everything about them kills. Their energy, and charisma, the entertainment. Adam D definitly knows how to make you laugh. Their real people, very down to earth. And I like that about them. Their guitars aren't to hard to play, and their not to easy either. The singing is awesome, Howard Jones is definitly a great voice. KILLSWITCH ENGAGE!!!!

Now, I also agree with all these young kids talking about how much they love real metal like Pantera and Killswitch-Engage but then also say they love the new KoRn bullsh*t and those gay *ss fagg*ts of System of a Down. I would also sh*t a brick if Ozzfest would start headlining bands like Cannibal Corpse, Morbid Angel, Dissection, or even bands like Blood has been Shed or As I Lay Dying. Is anyone else aware that SLAYER is tentatively confirmed too? If it weren't for Slayer and their impact on heavy metal, the boys in Hatebreed and Slipknot (and scores of other acts) would still be breastfeeding.
And as far as DamagePlan is concerned, as talented as they are, they can't touch Superjoint Ritual, and they know it. I'd love to see both acts on the same bill so my point can be proven firsthand, as far as crowd reactions are concerned.
Now I might actually go this year's Ozzfest; now that the lineup at least has appeared to start growing some testicles. I won't hold my breath.
