^^ agree with both comments. Not impressed.
You'd think that a man who hit 50 this year would offer something a bit more thought provoking - lyrically and musically.
C'mon Dave. I know you're capable of a lot more than this...
I know this is a bit blasphemous, but has anyone wondered how Megadeth would be withOUT Mustaine?
I mean, the other guys have also got some serious chops. What music would they write to stretch their legs a bit?

god that was terrible...modern megadump: the mecca of mish-mashed mediocrity
Hey Blind, stupid people do actually think as well ya know...they just can't seem to fvcking figure anything out ;)
sh**staine is fool enough to delude himself that he ain't out o' date, and that Megadump's 'music' doesn't actually suck the drippiest of mule c0ck...I'm sure he thinks about it compulsively and excessively (he is after all utterly and completely self obsessed), but he just ain't got the marbles to figure out the fvcking glaringly obvious
"well Boss, here's the thing...he ain't smart enough to know it, but that son of a b!tch is a real fvcking idiot!"

Didn't say they were bad records, but they were, by Mustaine's own admission, attempts to reach a more mainstream audience, CW and Risk in particular, which some would consider selling out. Honestly speaking, Risk is the only Megadeth album I still listen to because I like catchy pop rock, which is essentially what that record is.

I don't take Metallicas albums/songs into consideration when forming my opinion of Megadeth abums/songs or vice-versa. And I certainly don't waste my time with mediocre music because a band released a good album years ago. There are better bands making better music right now. Megadeth just seems to underwhelm lately. That's got nothing to do with anything but themselves. My biggest concern about this band is the sheer musical talent that seems to be wasted on mediocre songs.

I agree ab croatia,Megadeth has been making great music for years, this line-up is tighter than the original one live. Yea,Dave struggles at times with some of the older songs vocal wise, but the band covers it up imo. I know in Jan-Feb,ill be seeing Megadeth again with Motorhead.
