Vader Loses Bass

Polish death metal gods Vader are confirming that bassist Shambo is no longer a part of the band and that the band's management is currently auditioning musicians to fill the spot.

Vader said the new bass player will be expected to perform on the band's next studio album and on the upcoming Thrash 'Em All festival tour in November with Behemoth, Krisiun, Hate, Lux Occulta and more.

Here is the rest:

The band's Reign Forever World tour with Dying Fetus, Cryptopsy and Kataklysm will be cancelled after September 26 due to the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. The band's last show will be in Klagenfurt, Austria. A total of seven shows were cancelled as a result of the attacks.

In similar news, Vader have booked an unspecified studio to record their forthcoming album for Metal Blade. The band's as-yet-untitled full-length is currently scheduled for a May 2002.
