Godhate Replace Bassist
Swedish death metallers GODHATE (formerly THRONEAEON) have replaced bassist Magnus Wall with long-time friend Clabbe Ramberg. "It feels like a great step forward for us as he has the right attitude and spirit along with his talents that we were looking for," the band write on their web site.
GODHATE recently put the release of their self-titled debut "on hold" while they are exploring all available options for a new record deal. The CD, which was recorded under the band's previous moniker, contains "furious, blasphemous and uncompromising death metal in the vein of SLAYER, DEICIDE and MORBID ANGEL with a touch of the early Swedish style," according to the group. "Very well produced, with a powerful yet unique sound," the album features a guest appearance by drummer Matte Modin of DARK FUNERAL.
