Revised US Tour Dates from The Gathering

More dates have been announced for the forthcoming The Gathering North American headlining tour, which is scheduled to kick off in mid-February. Main support at all shows will come from Portland, Oregon's Agalloch.

Confirmed/revised The Gathering/Agalloch North American tour dates, according to the booking agent:

Feb. 12 - Cleveland, OH @ Agora
Feb. 13 - Toronto, CAN @ Club Rockit
Feb. 14 - Brooklyn, NY @ L'Amour
Feb. 15 - Cambridge, MA @ The Middle East
Feb. 16 - Washington, DC @ 9:30 Club

The Gathering will embark on a short tour of Mexico in late February and are tentatively planning on returning to the U.S. in June for a more extensive trek.

As previously reported, THE GATHERING will release their new "semi-acoustic" live album, "Sleepy Buildings", on January 26 through Century Media (in Europe). Recorded at two exclusive gigs held at the LUX movie theatre and venue in Nijmegen, Holland on August 21-22, the disc features selections from the group's entire career — from the classic debut "Always" to the commercial breakthough "Mandylion" to the trip-rock of "If_Then_Else".
