Not enough to give an actual opinion on so I'll wait till it drops to see if they still have the chemistry.

The Infection wasn't their greatest, this sounds more like that than anything from before it, hopefully the new album has more energy than this.

Raper, I really enjoyed The Infection. I liked how they kinda slowed down the pace and showed they still had it without goin' super fast.

Van, I hope it's not, this is a great band. but the lineup is completely different now so who's to know accept them.
But Dethklok was amazing. Great live band. Gene Hoglan is an animal live and Brendon Small was a good frontman and a hell of a player. The band as a whole was really tight and the songs fun to see live. Plus they had music videos of the cartoon band running behind them perfectly in sync. They had a click track in their ears to keep up with the vid and it was pulled off perfect. I definitely recommend seeing them live if you get a chance. Sorry for the essay here lol.

Gene Hoglan is a great drummer! I will check Dethklok out if they come this way.

I didn't mind The Infection, It could of been a bit faster.
They should get Kevin Talley back on drums.

Good to hear Van. I don't think you'll be disappointed with them.

Like I said I like The Infection. After listening to insane fast paced types of metal since I started I'm kinda getting into some slower but brutal stuff. I feel them and Cannibal Corpse slowed down a bit one their newest releases. Bit the riffs are great and I feel they hit harder in some ways. The ending of that new Machine Head song Locust is like that kinda. Slow but brutal and crushing.

But it'd be sick to see Talley back. He's doin' so many projects that, that probably won't happen. Sucks.... I hope whoever did drums on this new album did good.

not saying The Infection was bad, just not their best. Maybe a bit slow, but still brutal. I'll always be looking forward to a new Chimaira album.
