Oh fvck, come on now...give us a fvcking break 'DuPlantier'. 'The best ever'? How fvcking audacious is that for ANYONE to claim?
Il'y'a BEAUCOUP des bandes 'Deathmetal' BEAUCOUP mieux que toi...bien sur, jamais
Also. your ignorant 'idealist' support of the fvcking Sea Pirates is enough basis for ANYONE to reject your decent musical talent outright...do you have any goddamn clue whom it really is that you are shamelessly endorsing?
But THIS statement of your here just puts it over the fvcking top...Ha!
I threw your fvcking records in the garbage a long time ago...but I trust you spent my hard-earned money well?
En tout cas...bon chance sauver les Baleines, et avec ton neuveau CD, mon copain :)
GOOD FVCKING GOD....motherfvckers

Good song! I have my doubts that the above poster is actually Duplantier. Thats the first time ive heard their music ever described as death metal,i doubt he would be pretenscious enough to describe it as some of the best ever. And to ask people to get thier name out there? Naw,dont think its him. No bs live act though, look forward to seeing them again.

Ya Numbskull, I'm perfectly aware who your sensationalist Sheep-Turd heros are. I call them pirates because that is what they ARE, you slathering fvcking idiot....seafaring criminals, virtual terrorists
Now, you wanna talk 'stupidity' and 'legality' you dribble chinned fvcking imbecile?
goddamn, some of these sputtering frikken goofballs that come on here and spray their spoonfed fvcking baby drivel....jesus fvcking christ

19. writes:
'Sheep turd'.....please i think its obvious who the idiot here is, who's the one backing their argument with mindless insults?. You have no idea what your talking about so please stop, stopping illegal whaling with non-violent methods isn't illegal now is it. Sure i'll talk about legality you seem to have no clue about it.
I dont give a sht if you dont like their music but why post the fact you dont? arrogance probably.

23. writes:
Ha! Well V12, YOU began with the 'mindless insults' by referring to me as 'mind numbingly stupid' in YOUR presumtuous arrogance
My family is steeped in law, has been for well over a hundred years. Their ranks have included three NM governors, two members of Congress, one US senetor, one US Supreme Court justice (NM), one Territorial Supreme Court justice (NM), one Environmental Protection Agency board member; these among many other Attorneys at Law in my family whom had no interest in politics, but are otherwise of high reputation
For my own part, I have diligently worked (LEGALLY) for the benefit of Wildlife in my state, and beyond, though to a somewhat lesser degree. I suppose my greatest success to date was the then Governor's call for an 'emergency' Special Legislative Session in response to a proposal I wrote (directly supported by the Chairman of the State Game Commission) concerning the need for NM to immediately impose strongly enhanced penalty assessments for the illegal take of Big Game species ahead of the 2006 season...the item passed, and was signed into law.
With respect to this, my cousin and her husband are currently prosecuting a poaching case for our local District Attorney's office which will carry Civil Penalties of around $200,000 in addition to the substantial Criminal Assessment a case of such gravity provides for. The Civil dollars will be routed directly into our Wildlife Programs. Without 'my' statute, NO money would be entitled to NMGF
Whaling, and International fisheries harvest in general, are incredibly complex issues, and there is much misinformation and abuse of the resource by ALL those involved; but the employment of guerrilla tactics by a rogue gang of hotshot 'Shepherds' of questionable qualification and integrity is most certainly NOT a solution
Now please, define "illegal" whaling, and how the hell you know whether or not the targets to whom the pirates choose to apply their unsavory practices are justifiably 'legitimate'?
25. writes:
While the stance on the Sea Shepard is decidedly ambigous here in NZ, the stance on whaling is pretty clear. I'm not here to argue but there have been abysmal illegal whaling practises carried out by Japanese fleets in the Southern Ocean, an IWC declared santuary - anyone who follows it knows the "scientific research" going on is wholesale whale slaughter to serve up blubber to the markets.
26. writes:
Indeed it is Cynic, probably the greatest abuse of 'privelege' by ANY nation
The RAPIDLY downward spiral of the Greater Tuna can also be directly attributed to the insatiable demand of the Tokyo fish market...but no one seems to care much about the 'stupid fish', despite the fact that these tuna species are some of the most awesome predatory animals on the planet in and of themselves, and are of irreplacable importance to the overall health of oceanic ecosystem
28. writes:
I'm literally about to eat a can of tuna right now haha. But you're right on, it's the abuse of the priveledge of living with such great animals.
I liked you're description though - personally, I'm entranced by the greatness of whales. I wanted to call by band something about whales but Ahab beat me to it...

Hellrat and V12: I live down here in Ponce Inlet, FL. I recently was doing an offshore tournament in one of my buddies bigger Grady Whites. I'm decent at fishing, but when offshore I prefer to handle the gaff hooks when some else is doing the fighting :) The Tuna are really biting right now. But the tournament was mainly focused on Dolphin and Amber-jack (sp?) and Cobia.
We did catch a few big Tunas, and they are damn tasty. But we got the call to come back to shore to the weighing station. And we got 7th place in Dolphin! We reeled in one that was about 70 lbs. 1st place went to a guy that hooked a 100+ pounder. Real good sh!t!
Anyway, as for Gojira I think the new album is gonna be great. And I cannot wait for Opeth's "Heritage". Sorry about the tangent. but fishing is so awesome. And I love death metal. So it goes hand in hand.

Right on man! sh!t, a 70 lb dolphin is pretty frikken good sized, winner's went a legit 100? that is one giant mahi mahi
Anyway, sportfishing is definitely NOT the issue...it is the commercial overharvest by unscroupulous entities of a limited (but highly eligible for susainability when managed properly) international resource
oh ya, can't forget the Sea Turds....oh, and Gojira :)

35. writes:
1. that's not joe.
2. please lets focus on the music instead of the cause. if you're for or against it that's your personal opinion here. whatever either way.
3. this track is unfreaking believable!!!!!!!! Gojira is amazing, simply the best band out right now.
37. writes:
it's true what post #35 says about whether or not u support the cause. because if they were doing it for a charity for a foundation of crack babies, half the ppl would be like "aww, poor babies. good for the guys for the band", while the other half would just say that it isn't right to support babies that are addicted to crack!

40. writes:
Ha! fvckin n'head :)
'lets focus on the music' ya, exactly....just what the band should be doing as well
I'm so fvcking sick of the godamned 'Bono Syndrome'
'best band out there' ya, righto....they're a good band for sure, but the 'agenda' just turns me off
but whatever indeed...hell, I'm just happy I won't be needing that dripping frikken spooge sock....fvckin nasty ! :)
52. writes:
Kev, nothing is wrong with wanting to save the whales...it's more or less how they go about it. In my opinion...protesting is fine but going rogue and attacking whalers is entirely another (even though I really hate what they're doing to such magnificent creatures). So I don't fully support Sea Shepherd's actions...but I also don't support the slaughter of endangered creatures either. I'm on the fence on the issue...HR makes some good points. Either way...it's about the music for me \m/

53. writes:
Yeah awesome song.
Just to make things clear though, most of you have got the wrong idea about the sea sheperds. They are not as violent as your making them out to be, they dont directly attack the whalers they just stop there ships. They use methods that dont actually harm anyone.
55. writes:
Oh fvck, I HAVE to see that episode! I have a feeling I will be needing to keep the the jizz sock 'handy' eh? :P And no Blind, not surprised in the least...nobody know their Sh!t like you do my brother! :)
V12, you apparently don't regard as violent acts Sea Shepherd's ramming and/or sinking of vessels, firing upon vessels, directly jeopardizing the lives of the SS crew and the crew of the vessel being harrassed by their reckless interference?
Paul Watson is a fvcking criminal and a pirate...a few words of his illustrating his lack of qualms concerning the use of violence:
"There's nothing wrong with being a terrorist, as long as you win"
"We live in an extremely violent culture, and we all justify violence if its for what we believe in"
In 1991, then Sea Shepherd president Scott Trimmingham quit in protest: "We had rules about not hurting anyone, about not using weapons. I left because those rules and that philosophy seem to be changing"
Watson is also a pathological liar, a fraud, and a cover up artist. Again, in his own words:
"If you don't know an answer, a fact, a statistic--make it up on the spot"
I've indulged your lazy ignorance far too much here already V12, please refrain from posting a response until you actually have something meaningful to convey...you've repeated the same baseless propaganda mantra over and over here already
I strongly support the conservation of wildlife and fisheries by proper and competent management, including the employment of sustainable harvest quotas...I have a deep respect for the provenly successful principles that constitute the North American Conservation Model, and hope that the science based management strategies outlined therein will continue to spread throughout the international community
I STRONGLY oppose emotionally-based sensationalist and self righteous 'conservation' groups like fvcking SeaShepherd, Sierra Club, National Wildlife Federation, etc
Its really too bad the good public is so easily misled, and that decent artists are beguiled into feeling compelled to endorse these organizations out of a misguided 'sense of duty'

'firing upon other vessels', yes but with potatoes aimed at radars not people and not with dangerous ammunition. Yes they ram boats as a finale resort, but those are usually more complicated matters. However, i do agree that they can take it to far sometimes. Yes i keep repeating myself because you keep calling them pirates. You must have no idea what a real pirate is and how extreme they are. You cannot compare Sea Shepherds to pirates.
'we justify violence for what we believe in', that quote is both wrong and right depending on what context its used in. When people fight for freedom, is that wrong?
If people like the sea shepherds didn't do what they do to reduce whaling, what do you think would happen to the whale population? its not going to be fixed by anyone else at the moment so there really isn't any other solution.
64. writes:
Good Grief v12, THAT babbling drivel is what you're going with? Potato guns? Freedom Fighters? Justifiable ramming during 'complicated matters'? Are you fvcking serious? What happened to your claim that that the fvcking Sh!t Turds are utterly 'non-violent'? So are they just 'pretend pirates' then? You have NO fvcking idea what the heck you're blithering about, in ANY regard...my earlier guess has proved correct, you are indeed a flat fvcking moron
My assessment of the PIRATE gang Sea Shepherd is based on over two decades of following their deplorable practices; what they do is fundamentally inexcusable to ANY qualified mariner operating at sea now, or EVER
I would give you some avenues to pursue that might help expand your exceedingly narrow perspective with regard to "saving the whales", but you clearly do not possess the intellect to appropriately apply any such knowledge to help bolster your rather flacid viewpoint of such a complex issue
My patience with Your Idiocy is exhausted...fvckin goofy clown, shovel in another mouthful of sh!t while watching your goddamned whale wars, just PLEASE have the decency to wipe that revolting dribble off your chin before you come slathering back on here again
these fvckin dipsh!ts man, I'll tell ya... :)

65. writes:
Alright im done arguing with you now, this isn't getting anywhere and your just insulting me to justify your arguments, just re-read the last paragraph you wrote. (time to repeat myself again....) They are non-violent on most occasions but when they are slightly violent they dont aim to hurt people. i assure you my intelligence is ALOT higher than yours.
I just hope you come to your senses when faced by real pirates, if they dont kill you for nothing they will at least take you hostage for some torture........have fun :)
66. writes:
Good, I'm glad you're done; the regurgitation of false information combined with shameless self-contradiction will certainly never make for very convincing 'argument'
but I did like you quantifying your 'intelligence", and the 'have fun with the pirates' closing....pretty clever stuff for a fvcking goon :)
But something tells me you'll contradict yourself yet again by coming back on here to entertain us further by means of your formidable powers of 'intellect' and 'expertise'....
67. writes:
V12: Well, Mr. "i assure you my intelligence is ALOT higher than yours.", if you're so intelligent why don't you take a crack at explaining why you don't know that "ALOT" is actually 2 words? Don't underestimate HR, he'll hand you your arse in a hot flash. I've seen many make the same mistake with HR and it never ended well for them. lol.

Pretty good sh**. 'The way of all flesh' personally blew my mind on many levels. I truly enjoy thought-provoking songs as Gojira seems to dig deeper on a spiritual and unique plane of abstract transcendence. The appearances by Devin Townsend and Fredrik Thordendal were a pleasant surprise as well. Really, really looking forward to some new Gojira.. despite the questionable political and personal avenues.
