Cannabis Corpse Reveals New Album, "Beneath Grow Lights Thou Shalt Rise" Release Date

Richmond, Virginia based death metal outfit Cannabis Corpse has announced the band's new studio album, "Beneath Grow Lights Thou Shalt Rise" will be released through Tankcrimes Records on July 12th.
On this record, Cannabis Corpse has ventured even further down the left-hand path to pay homage to those other masters of death, Morbid Angel and Deicide. Tongue-in-cotton-mouthed-cheek titles like "Lunatic of Pot's Creation" and "Immortal Pipes" keep the party rolling, but don't be fooled: Cannabis Corpse ais not a joke band. Sure, they'll fire up a bowl and chug a beer, but then they'll rip your face off with a brutal old-school death metal assault, the likes of which haven't been seen since the seeds of the genre first began to grow.
You can also check out the band's recently posted European tour documentary footage at this location.

First of all it's a parody of CC with songs talking about smoking weed. On cd they dont come off very well but live they are heavy as fukk and they have a dude dressed up as a kind bud that gets in the pit. Band is total fun, i hope they pass through Indy again.
