Dismember Release Date For New Album
Long-running Swedish death metallers Dismember have set a March 8 release date through Holland's Karmageddon Media (formerly Hammerheart Records) for their new album, "Where Ironcrosses Grow".
The follow-up to 2000's "Hate Campaign" was recorded at Stockholm's Sami studio and will feature artwork by acclaimed artist Dan Seagrave (Entombed, Suffocation, Morbid Angel). Among the cuts set to appear on the effort are "Tragedy Of The Faithful", "Sword Of Light", "Where Ironcrosses Grow", "Chasing The Serpent", and "Me-God".
As previously reported, Dismember's upcoming double DVD, now re-titled "Live Blasphemies", is due on January 26, 2004 through Escapi. The first disc will contain the group's live performance from May 27, 2003 at Klubben in Stockholm, while the second disc will feature a 90-minute documentary/home video spanning the group's entire career.
