I already hate this album and this is all I know about it.

Didn't think it was possible to get more emo than "A Sense of Purpose"

Not at all, in fact, Deftones garner more respect world wide than In Flames. Those p***y Swedes are a complete joke.

But whatever, you keep listening to br00tal bands like Killswitch Engage and All That Remains. Damn, you're cool.

don't judge a book by its cover. A sense of Purpose was a kick a$$ album. Sure, nothing will ever come close to old in flames but new in flames are good in their own way

#9 ftw imo. i love in flames, but their newer sh** (sense of purpose) isn't as good, it's just different. i listen to it for different reasons than when i listen to pre-clayman albums, as the same thing goes for their mid-era stuff (reroute, clarity, your escape).

I wonder if this album title is foreshadowing them retiring soon... "Sounds of a Playground Fading" certainly sounds like it, but I hope not.

#14 I hope they do actually.

Old In Flames, up to Clayman, was really good. Now it's just kids music. Seriously, Come Clarity was a step in the right direction (even though half the songs are crying melodies) but the last one was complete garbage. This one is looking to be exactly the same thing.

Oh well, not like there aren't other good bands to listen these days.

ugh really......In Flames whoracle, jester race and lunar strain albums were some of the first "real" metal albums i discovered as a young lad so they have a special place in my black heart. after the last few albums and concerts i have attended i feel embarrassed to even mention them.

I honestly dont like the album name.. I really dont know what say about it, it is what it is. But the title will not make me leave an album with my name on it in stores, im gonna pick it up reguardless. In Flames always had a way of getting me excited for their albums no matter what, still hasnt changed. Also, im interested in seeing the artwork, until then, im keeping my mind open.
