American progressive metal act A Perfect Circle has been announced as the featured headline act for the upcoming Edgefest festival. Edgefest 2011 is set to take place on Saturday, July 9 at Downsview Park in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Festival organizers commented on the event by saying:

"102.1 The Edge is excited to bring Edgefest back to Downsview Park for a jam packed lineup of Canadian and international talent on two stages. This year’s lineup features 14 homegrown bands that are making a mark in the music scene and we are proud to showcase this great talent to our dedicated listeners right in our backyard."

Tickets go on-sale this coming Saturday, January 29th at 12:00pm.
