Warbringer Parts Ways With Drummer Nic Ritter, Statement Released
American thrashers Warbringer have announced the departure of drummer Nic Ritter from the group. Nic Ritter played his final show with the band on Friday night at the House of Blues in West Hollywood alongside Sepultura and Angra. Warbringer guitarist John Laux commented on the departure by saying:
"Nic Ritter is an incredible drummer and we wish him the best of luck! I know he made a lot of friends around the world and I just want everyone to understand that our decision to part ways was mutual and necessary. Nic has worked very hard with us over the last two years and we are grateful for his contributions musically and his commitment personally on the road."
Nick Ritter added:
"I felt like it was time for a change both musically and personally. All is good between the guys and myself as this was a mutual decision. I wish them the best in the future and with the next album."

What are these guys the new Dimmu Borgir?
"We''ve toured for five months with this drummer and recorded one album with him...NEXT DRUMMER!!"
That's the second drummer and theyve only had two albums. Thank god they found an equally talented guy as the first, but he changed the sound drastically when he showed up; still good, but it took a minute to get used to. And now theyre about to do it again. :P
