Former Sonic Syndicate members Richard Sjunnesson (vocals) and Roland Johansson (vocals) have teamed up with current guitarist Roger Sjunnesson to form The Unguided. The band is preparing to release its debut two-track digital and physical single "Nightmareland" in February with a full length to follow near the end of the year. Richard Sjunnesson commented on the new project by saying:
"We already have about ten songs in the pipeline for the album and everything sounds really awesome! I will assure you it sounds nothing like the 'new' Sonic, and the people who liked the classic Syndicate will be familiar with the take on these songs, for sure. I don't think we ever wrote this many songs in such a short period of time. And I believe it's the fruit of having creative freedom and loving what we do — it certainly has upped the pace."

So wait a second... Both original vocalists and their guitarist form a new band? Seems to me they should just swap band names with each other. I wish Karin would join them too, shes bangin.
Also, why do they have a song called Nightmareland when Sonic Syndicates new album already has a song called Rebellion in Nightmareland (one of the few good songs on album) This seems very strange.
