The new Hatebreed album The Rise of Brutality, which hits stores on October 28th, will be anywhere from $9.99 to $14.99 list price. This should mean that pretty much every store will have the CD for somewhere around $11.99 or $12.99 or even as low as $9.99.

In other news, Hatebreed frontman Jamey Jasta has checked in from the road, here's what he had to say...

"So we started this tour on Oct. 8th in St. Paul, MN at The Roy Wilkins Auditorium and I really didn’t know what to expect because we were cutting our set down to 45 minutes and we had just finished a month of headlining and I was really comfortable with playing pretty much all of our songs. We would only be playing 17 or 18 tonight but we made the best of it and I was really really happy with our reaction. We came out on stage to just feedback. No intro, no big light show, we leave that up to the gods that are Slayer, we are just 4 guys and the music so sometimes it’s a little harder for us when we play the bigger places cause its really just up to us to prove that we can contend with the big boys. The crowd was beserk! There was easily 2500 people there and it had been awhile since we made a stop anywhere near the twin cities and it was a great welcome back and an amazing way to start a tour. The day before the show we had a day off in the twin cities and we stopped by 93x to pre-record a show called The Extreme Metal Shop with our old pal Nick Davis. He has been playing our 5 song sampler of the new songs and was telling us how good the reaction was and that people had been calling in to request the stuff.. Being that he is a long time supporter of us and our music, it felt really good to hear that. Another thing that is cool about his show is that it isn’t edited so he is able to play the one song on the sampler called “Doomsayer” that has a bunch of swears in it. After our set, I went out in the crowd to watch Slayer and had out some left over Rise Of Brutality 2 Tour posters and some other flyers and stickers we had lying around the bus. I talked to and met a bunch of people and signed some stuff and the vibe was great. I was really surprised to see how many people are actually watching Headbangers Ball. That was cool and of course Slayer completely demolished the place. I watched the whole set an then head out to our merch area where I met a bunch more people and hung for a little bit. As the night went on me and the guys headed over to Slayer's dressing room where both Slayer and us had a small meet and great. We drank some Jager a reminisced about the other Slayer/Hatebreed tours we have done and it just felt great to be back on the road with them again. They have been so good to us and it was just a great night all around. We had a 10 hour drive to Carbondale, IL so we took off kinda early and started making our way to the next show which we would be headlining. I had to approve a second edit of the “This Is Now” video and do some interviews so I was at a hotel for the majority of the day doing emails and making calls. Beattie and Frank from Ringworm/Terror (who has been riding with us since Terror left to go back to Cali.) got to go fishing with our buddies Chip and Jordan from Illinois. We met these dudes while Beattie and I were doing a radio interview with Stone over at I-Rock 96.7 in Bloomington, IL. We had mentioned on the air that we liked to go fishing and Chip called in and said he would come down to the venue and take us. This kid is a total pro, he has trophies and pictures of him and huge catches. He took us out to a nice lake and we got to chill and we all actually caught some. So Chip and Jordan have been coming to the last bunch of shows and taking us out and showing the good fishing spots in the areas that we are playing in. Such cool guys, so anyways after I was done doing all my business bullshit I headed back over to the venue. Hemlock was playing when I showed up. Unfortunately I missed the local bands but Hemlock seemed to be getting a good reaction. Those guys were doing the first 6 shows on the Slayer tour with us so instead of taking a day off they took the 10 hour ride to Carbondale to play the show. We hit the stage at around 10 and did about an hour set. I was completely shot from all the shit I was doing during the day but I thought it was a pretty damn good show. The crowd was loud and was trying to go off but the security was on the floor intimidating people. That was definitely a bum out plus the show was 18+ so some people couldn’t get in who didn’t bring ID. That sucked as well. Next time we will be better prepared so everyone can have a better time. After the set we met some kids out back behind the club. Everyone was really cool. The rest of the guys were clued to the TV in the bar watching the Yankees win. Later that night we would head to Davenport, IA for day two of the Slayer tour."
