Metal Does Charity
Good Works
- Godsmack plans to donate all proceeds from sales of merchandise at its shows over the weekend in Darien Center, New York and Scranton, Pennsylvania to a fund benefiting the families of New York police officers and firefighters.
- KISS Army OnLine, the non-profit outfit that has put out three KISS tribute CDs to benefit charity, has made arrangements to donate proceeds to victims relief organizations via its Web site. Those who donate $20 will receive a KISS tribute album of their choice, and those who donate $50 will get all three of the currently available tribute albums (though larger donations are certainly welcome). Each donor will also receive a color 19x27 KISS Army poster personalized with the information concerning the donation. Contributions via Visa and MasterCard can be made at www.kissarmyonline.com.
