Montana based extreme metal act Throne of Malediction has announced a short delay to the release of the band's debut album "Ceremonial Blood," which is due for release via Ziekte Records. Throne of Malediction will be re-recording nine songs from the album. The re-recorded material will also feature the band's new keyboardist Nick Fischer. Front man Eric Horner commented:

"We would like to get the quality of our release more up to par, production-wise. It will not delay us much, so it is worth it. The album is delayed already for the art, so no big deal. David (from the band Nierty) is very talented at production and has insisted on helping us better our sound quality.

"So we are working on that currently. Should only be a short delay. Some songs we have done will just be re-mastered more. We hope to have the best album possible. We will release details as soon as possible."
