"some music was meant to stay underground..."

Diabolical Masquerade Enter Studio

Sweden's Diabolical Masquerade, the side-project of Katatonia guitarist Anders Nyström (a.k.a. Blakkheim), have entered Studio Castillo in Stockholm with engineer David Castillo (live sound engineer for Katatonia) to begin recording their fifth album, tentatively due in early 2004 through Avantgarde Music. The follow-up to 2001's "Death's Design" will be a musical "cross between 'Nightwork' (1998) and 'Death's Design' — in other words lots of horror, weirdness and METAL!" according to the band's official web site. No further details are available at this time.
