Pale Divine Sign Deal with Martyr Music
Pale Divine have inked a deal with Martyr Music Group. The label will release the groups new album, tentatively titled Eternity Revealed, in early 2004.
The new material will be recorded this fall with producer Chris Kozlowski (Penance, Pentagram). Cover art for the album will come from Brian Tutlo, who also created the feature artwork on the band's Thunder Perfect Mind album.
In addition to the new songs, a few tracks from the hard to find Crimson Tears demo will also be included on the album, re-recorded for improved sound quality.
In regards to their deal with Martyr, drummer Darin McCloskey comments: “We're really looking forward to working with Martyr Music. It's great to be with a label that's as excited about our music as we are! We appreciate the enthusiasm that Maria has expressed with regard to working with us and we trust that our relationship with her is going to benefit a great deal from that. Likewise, it's exciting for us to be with a label that is young and still growing."
Artistically speaking, Darin explains the direction the band has taken with their song writing: "There's an epic quality to new songs like ‘Sins Of The Fallen’ and ‘Martyrdom’ much the same way that ‘Morphia/Crimson Tears"’ has that epic feel. [Although] there is no CONCEPT behind the new record there is somewhat of a religious theme behind it."
Eternity Revealed will feature the following tracklisting: ‘Blind Faith’, ‘Sins Of The Fallen’, ‘Martyrdom’, ‘Ever After’, ‘Lord Of Sorrow’, ‘Morphia’, ‘Crimson Tears’, ‘As I Am (Soon You Shall Be)’, ‘Eternity Revealed’ and ‘Serpents Path’.
