Deicide Post New Album Artwork Online

Deicide have posted the cover artwork for their upcoming CD, "Scars Of The Crucifix", at this location. The band entered the studio on July 28 to begin recording the effort, the band's first since their split with longtime label Roadrunner Records. A late 2003 release through Earache Records is expected.

Speaking to Terrorizer magazine late last year, Deicide frontman Glen Benton said, "We've got more material than we know what to do with! Now we're doing records for us so it's back to the old thinking and the old ways of writing. We're writing to beat all — that's the way we do things. We're goin' back to our roots — who cares about musical logic? Fuck musical logic."
