Morbid Records Update
Albums due out this fall from Morbid Records include Prostitute Disfigurement’s Deeds Of Derangement (featuring a real drummer) and Harmony Dies’ Impact (produced by Golem’s Mr. Hilbert).
Morbid will also issue their 100th release, The Morbid Two, a compilation album featuring exclusive tracks from Virulence, Profanation, Obscenity, Mucupurulent, Lividity, Impetigo, Hypnos, Hellblazer, Haemorrhage, Disinter and Ashes You Leave, plus some current tracks from the other Morbid bands as well as four bonus tracks. The CD has a running time of about 75 minutes and comes with a 24 page booklet. It’ll hit the stores in early September at half the price of a regular CD.
In other Morbid Records news, Canada’s Neuraxis will be on the road in Europe from September 4th - 20th with Birdflesh and Hellblazer. For more info on the dates contact hblzr@web.de or check out www.morbidrecords.de.
Meanwhile, Haemorrhage are hard at work putting the finishing touches on their upcoming DVD entitled Visions From The Morgue. The set will feature two video clips, footage from the 2002 With Full Force Festival, the band’s history and some special features. A release is scheduled for winter 2003/2004.
Also, the new Disinter album, Designed By The Devil, Powered By The Dead, is also scheduled for a winter release. It will be a 2CD set featuring the band’s trademark sound on CD1 and a symphonic remix with Cello on CD2.
